Mama Sue's Tiny Guesthouse

This is a converted 160 sq ft red barn shed with a covered front porch overlooking the beautiful grounds of St. Charles College. There is a Murphy Queen-sized bed, shower, antique sink, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Walls, bed frame and trim are crafted from palette wood, creating a crafted rustic look. We are within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. It’s tucked in a historic, beautiful peaceful place where you can rest your mind and refresh your soul.

Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This is the perfect bayou getaway in the heart of Cajun Country. It overlooks Bayou Amy, which is adjacent to the Atchafalaya Basin. Slow down and be transported to another time and place in this 1834 creole cottage along Bayou Teche. The huge live oaks with their draped Spanish moss surround the home. The home features a huge back porch overlooking the bayou to do some birdwatching. The center hall allows for a nice breeze. There’s a queen bed and claw foot tub downstairs, two full beds and bathroom upstairs.
