“Very tidy and lovely AirBnb cottage, equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom and cold a/c. When we first stumbled upon this cottage on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Location is close to everything Magnolia and other hot spots in Waco. Autumne had excellent restaurant recommendations that didn’t disappoint..she was correct on the limit of margaritas! Katie’s frozen custard was outstanding (another recommendation). .She went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. If we find ourselves back in Waco we will most definitely stay again.”
The German Schmear Cottage is tucked away on a quiet street in the Mountainview area. It is centrally located (HEB, Target, and Starbucks are right down the road) and only 10-15 minutes from downtown, the Silos, and Baylor. Once a detached garage, this 400 square foot space is now a cozy, modern living space and is on the property of the main German Schmear (fixer upper) house, which is also a vacation rental. See pictures for more detailed information about the tiny house.
“We wanted a few days away from the craziness of our schedules so we decided to book with Jess and Sara for a few nights of writing and relaxation. The space was such a cute cottage, very modern and fun. Loved the backyard for wine and reading. The cookies were AMAZING. Also, their communication was spot on when we had some wifi issues. Thanks for having us!”
