In the vicinity you will find beautiful nature (beach, dunes and forest), cycling and hiking trails, nice surrounding villages and the city of Alkmaar is 8 km away. There is plenty to experience in Egmond himself. It has a lovely beach and a cozy center with a non stop holiday feeling. In summer and winter! Upon arrival, you will receive a parking card with which you can park for free.

This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

'Little Hemingway' is ideal for lazy reading holidays. Our cottage has plenty of books in the closet! There is also an opportunity to write. If you don't want all this, enjoy the peace, the sea and the dunes in our picturesque Egmond. Our cottage is small but very warm and cozy, and has a ditto attic. Three minutes walk from the beach. Just north of the lighthouse, 100 m. from the beach and the dunes, is our cozy cottage for 1 - 3 people. The village center is about 300 meters away. When you come back from the beach, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace. In the late and early season you can also come to us for a weekend, midweek or a few individual holidays. We only rent to tourists without babies. We do not rent to foreign employees/temporary agencies.
