Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

Fabulous hut in a glorious location. It has everything we needed and was beautifully clean. The host was extremely helpful and answered so quickly any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. I had a lovely stay at Frank’s hut in Tilshead. It felt peaceful and private but Frank was a very responsive and helpful host. The hut itself was immaculate and cleverly designed to maximise space, with comforts like a nearby shower and underfloor heating. Added touches like brownies and breakfast tray were great. I fell asleep listening to rain on the roof and woke up to sheep and birdsong - bliss! Would love to return and explore the area more.

Primrose Shepherds Hut was cute, quaint warm and inviting. Lovely comfy bed, clean shower room and toilet. Fresh towels, and some toiletries were also supplied. Whilst we didn’t need to cook, facilities were supplied, a microwave and a small plug in hob with plates, pots cutlery etc. Wi-Fi for us to connect to was reliable, so we were able to watch TV on our iPad. Recommendations for pubs with food, St Kew pub restaurant had amazing food, St Mabyn pub unfortunately wasn’t serving food as the chef had been called away, but the menu looked great, and it was walking distance away. Car access was a little tight to get in, but we did by being very careful. Very quiet, and a great place as a base for our sightseeing in Cornwall.

I absolutely LOVED this place, immediately regretted not booking another night & I’ve already booked another stay! After walking in the Downs, and along the River Ouse, I had a lovely afternoon exploring the quirky shops, the Flea Market, and a good few pubs in Lewes! Feeling happy-tired after all the walking (& a hefty pub lunch), I arrived at Michelle’s & found myself in utter peaceful bliss - the perfect place to relax & unwind. Loving it so, I quickly abandoned all plans of walking to The Five Bells. Instead, I got the enormous firepit ablaze & spent the rest of my night warming myself in front of the flames, with a bottle of Fizz, simply enjoying the sound of the bleeting sheep. With plenty of wood provided to burn well into the wee hours, I later found myself being serenaded by a hooting owl. Heaven! I eventually dragged myself to the comfiest bed imaginable & had the best night’s sleep. As if things couldn’t get better, I awoke on Easter Sunday to my very own lambs!! Perfection!

Had a lovely couple of days away, the hut was lovely and cosy and had everything I needed for my stay. Melanie stopped by shortly after I arrived to make sure everything was ok and to give a couple of recommendations which I appreciated. Overall highly recommended. Thanks for hosting us!

Great location, feels quiet and secluded but still close by to the shops and seaside. The shepherd’s hut was a great size. Communication from the host was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the location is very peaceful with lovely views across the field into the woodland. The shepherds hut had all necessary amenities and was very clean. Good location and easy to find.

The Shepherds Hut was lovely and the surrounding garden beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the information pack sent through before we arrived was very useful. We were lucky with the weather but it wasn’t quite cold enough to take advantage of the wood burner! Managed a long cycle ride - the 2 tunnels route, beware the hills on your return! Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic few days staying in Emma and David’s hut Daisy. It was so peaceful amongst the Christmas trees and was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Emma and David are absolutely lovely and are great hosts. I would definitely recommend staying in Daisy.

We recently stayed at Andreas Shepherd's Hut in Cruxton, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in a serene rural setting, the hut offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation was charmingly rustic yet comfortably modern and the interior was well-appointed with thoughtful touches that made it feel cosy and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable and the small kitchenette was equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay which we made the most of both mornings and evenings. The hut's location was perfect. Surrounded by apple trees and rolling hills, it's ideal for leisurely walks, relaxing outside with the fire pit or enjoying the private space alongside the river. The lack of light pollution in the area allowed us to view the Milky Way when stargazing one evening which was the perfect addition to our stay. Andrea was super accommodating, ensuring that everything was in order and even dropped off a homemade Dorset apple cake!

Wow, what an incredible little weekend away. My partner and I desperately needed this and Jamie’s hut certainly delivered! We felt like we were in our own bubble, away from the rest of the world. Thank you for being an incredible host, I really cannot rate this getaway highly enough. The hot tub was perfect once we got the fire going. The short walk into Botley was perfect for grabbing a bite and a pint in the evening. 5/5 stay and we will DEFINITELY be back.

Absolutely perfect stay, unfortunately only able to stay over night after a wedding in Bude, but what a way to relax after a long day. We would absolutely stay again for a relaxing getaway. Every detail has been thought of and the provided breakfast was a beautiful touch on a sunny morning.

The hut is situated in a very private woodland - we even saw a deer. Waking up to birdsong and nothing else was heaven and staring at the stars at night whilst relaxing in the hot tub was bliss. John was a very hospitable host, answering all our questions cheerfully and checked in once a day to make sure the log burner was working OK. The place is a fantastic getaway and we will book for longer on our next visit.

I booked a stay with Andrew for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay - the birthday banner was a lovely surprise and he was thrilled. The hut had everything we needed and more! The bath, fireplace, and BBQ were amazing. Andrew had really thought of everything!! The eggs, bread, and juice provided for breakfast in the morning made it even more perfect. Recommended to my friends and we will definitely be back!

The hut was brilliant, we watched the sunset from the hot tub each night which was beautiful and so quiet. The place has everything you need and it’s easily walkable to Boscastle centre although it does feel a lot harder on the way back up the hill :) the local pubs were great and we loved getting out walking on the coast path. It was exactly as we expected. So peaceful and relaxing with Lovely surroundings and amazing wildlife. All you could hear were the birds chirping and the occasional woodpecker hammering away. Clare was really quick to respond to any question or query we had and we couldn’t fault her. We didn’t walk anywhere but we did get a taxi and the local firm turned up in 10 minutes. But we would recommend not leaving it last minute to book if you’re in a rush. We had a lovely afternoon wine tasting at the local Bolney wine estate and we also visited the cider tap which again we could not fault. Especially the Amazing pizza. We will definitely be staying again and can’t wait to get back chilling in the hot tub. Zee & Emily

Had a great night away in the Blue Hut. Such a lovely place with great views. The hot tub was really nice with the outside fire pit. Inside the shepherd’s hut it had everything you need and was really modern. Plus, that was a nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco with marshmallows for the fire pit. Would highly recommend staying there.
