Note: Stairs can be steep for the infirm.

Hayeswood Farm is set in the rolling hills of south Derbyshire. Our family moved here in 2024 and have a strong focus on sustainability, regenerating the land and creating a haven for wildlife. The farm is home to chickens, ducks, geese, horses and our three whippets and is a great place to see wildlife such as songbirds, hare, partridge, and fallow deer. With public footpaths on our doorstep and plenty of pubs and farm shops near by, Stag Cottage is the perfect location for a weekend getaway.

A charming cottage retaining original features which has panoramic views from all windows. In the pretty village of Dale Abbey with Abbey ruins, unique semi-detached church and Hermits Cave. As well as full central heating, the lounge has a wood burning stove; keeping things cosy. The summerhouse encourages you to enjoy the outside space. In a beautiful conservation area yet only 10 minutes away from major routes - perfect for exploring. Ample off road parking. Dogs welcome. Children welcome.

This property has its own private entrance and includes off road parking. We live within a quiet small estate that is situated in the heart of Derbyshire. lots of little towns ,Belper is a lovely town with river gardens and lovely boutiques for shopping. Fancy walking or bike riding why not visit matlock or the peak district
