Borrow a canoe and go paddling on nearby lakes and rivers. At Camp Arden, we follow Airbnb’s and the CDC's recommended enhanced cleaning protocols. The cabin is in the Loon Lake area. It's a 20-minute drive to Saranac Lake and 35 minutes to Lake Placid. It's recommended to have your own vehicle or rental to best enjoy the Adirondacks. Because of its size taxis are expensive and an Uber may take some time to reach you. If you're flying in, the nearest airport, SLK, is 15 minutes away.

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. A 1900 farmhouse that has been in the family for generations. Recently renovated to accommodate up to 5 guests, it is clean with simple furnishings and a SPECTACULAR VIEW! Located RIGHT ON NYS RTE 86 (close to the road) with easy access to nearby attractions. The house is split in 2 and is designed for 2 families. I rent out "The View" using airbnb exclusively. My wife and I reside in the back portion of the house with a separate entrance and separate parking.

The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 7x7 with one single twin sized bed, dresser with three drawers, a dorm sized fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting in the Amish rocker by the outdoor fireplace.
