We spent four nights in Marith's lovely house, and it was probably the best Airbnb we ever had. It felt like moving into a museum, and at the same time like coming home. We immediately loved the house and were sad to leave it behind. A successful balancing act between tradition and modernity, comfort has been added while the old charm of the building has been preserved.

Large house in a prime location and with beautiful views. The absolute highlight is the quietly located boathouse, which is about 5 minutes away, incl. boat, canoe, SUP, etc. Communication with Conny was great and inquiries were answered immediately. Absolutely recommended!

Anne is a super nice host who went out of her way to make sure we had the most enjoyable stay possible. Her place was walking distance to the center of Sauda and was clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. The view from the living room and balcony was absolutely stunning! We would gladly came back!

Another excellent stay in this super Airbnb! Eli-Jorun is the perfect host and we really enjoyed our week! SO many kind touches like Easter sweets for our granddaughter, plenty of toys etc makes this our favourite place to stay when in Sauda. I also got to borrow a mix master and cake tin to bake a birthday cake. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we will be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a great time to the cabin. The cabin is very comfortable, warm and modern. We was unlucky with the snow, the sky center was closed, but enough snow for the kids:-). We definitely recommend this place. Ingrid was very helpful, great communication. We hope to be back again!

Spacious kitchen and living room, everything needed was available. Nice view over Skanevik fjord. We also did the roadtrip suggested by Frode, it was very scenic and beautiful.

Recommend to guest the cabin to Change. We were super happy with the cabin, and had a great time there during the New Year's weekend😊 Cozy hosts too!

Gunnlaug is a very caring host. Lovely furnished and very well equipped house with a wonderful view, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Very childfriendly with a nice playroom with kitchen. A fantastic area, we had a lovely time here.

We have had a second stay at the cabin because we liked the location so much. The cabin is cosy, well equipped, spacious and located above Sauda in the mountains. A good spot for Winter and Summer activities. We really liked to come back to the cabin.

A beautifully located holiday home right on the fjord. Everything was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable. We had three very nice weeks in Skånevik.

Communication with Line was great, answers came promptly. The location of the small lake hut is 25 minutes from Skanevik, but is a great place to relax because of its seclusion. We were there in the winter. There was enough wood outside the door, so we didn't have to freeze. The only thing you should get used to is that the tap water has a different character and smells a little. It didn't bother me. With 4 people you can have a great two/three week vacation in the house. Keep in mind, however, that although there are swimming facilities in the summer there, the swimming areas are rocky. The water is crystal clear and offers divers and snorkelers a perfect view. I would love to visit this area again in the summer. Etne and Skanevik have various shops and you can get everything you need there. In general, Norway is highly recommended. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
