The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

Hollyhock Cottage

Beautifully restored 1860's Miners cottage with all the modern conveniences whilst enjoying the lovely touches of yesteryear. Lime wash stone walls surround lge rooms with reverse cycle air A.C. wood fire & a gas log heater to keep you warm and cosy. Heated bathroom with with cast iron claw foot bath to soak and relax with a glass a wine. Enjoy the beautiful garden for breakfast, BBQ or read a book in one of the many nooks. Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Walking distance to the main street with great eateries and up to date information centre. The Historic Mine site and the Mawson, Heysen and Kidman walking trails are on the doorstep. Kapunda is nestled between the famous Barossa and Clare wine regions.
