Passive solar holiday house, very comfy beds, great deck with views over farm to mountain range, 10 min walk to town centre, part of Quamby Farm, all linen, fully self contained, just bring food! The King bed can be made into two King singles if requested prior to arrival.
“Ant & Melissa's getaway is fabulous. They're such wonderful hosts, sharing their knowledge of the area, the land and taking us on tour of their awesome sustainable farm! Our accommodation was super sparkling clean, fully equipped and so comfortable. Great parking, access to the mountains on your doorstep and the friendliest Air bnb hosts I have experienced in the last ten years! It's an easy, short walk into town for dinner or supplies as a bonus. The setting is perfect, and hanging out on the verandah in the sunshine with stunning views was seriously relaxing. Ant and Melissa kindly shared their beautiful fresh eggs, greens and preserves. An awesome stay, and I would recommend this lovely place in beautiful Halls Gap to everyone!”
A beautiful queen bedroom with TV is available for like-minded travellers. The room is in my home so guests will have to share my bathroom (with claw foot bath), dining room and kitchen facilities (which can be used to make food). Parking is right at the front door, it is a 20 mins drive to the Grampians National Park and a 2 mins walk to the town centre. I also have two single beds in a separate bedroom (without TV) if there are four of you, you have a young family or you prefer single beds.
“A great place to stay in Stawell. Mary is friendly but not intrusive. It is well located just walking distance to the main street. The beds are comfortable and the place is sparkling clean. For the price I paid I could not do better. I would recommend anyone this place. Will be coming again.”
Rosea Cottage is a private home nestled within the picturesque Grampians National Park just a short 3 minute walk from nearby shops, cafés, restaurants, and the information centre. *Please note due to the instability of wifi in Halls Gap there is no wifi at Rosea Cottage* “Overarched by a blue sky Overhung by a rugged mountain Surrounded by trees and melodic birdsong Accompanied by friendly kangaroos and cockatoos In the bliss of morning at Rosea Cottage” (Marian and Colin/Scotland/27Nov2019)
“Really cosy cottage, especially if you book in winter! The fire makes everything super cosy and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to prepare something for dinner. 2minutes walk to the main street and about 10min walk to the closest walk track! Highly recommended!”
