Historic District Carriage House

Choose a book from a shelf and snuggle up in bed for a good read. This wide-open space in the upper level of a carriage house boasts many modern conveniences, yet it has retained loads of original character with exposed brick walls and ceiling beams. City of Golden License Number: STR2021-0018 Our carriage house is located in the back of our historic home which was built in 1897 by prominent businessman Soren Sorenson. The main house is one of the few Edwardian Vernacular style in the district with traces of the Queen Anne style of architecture. The loft is a 560 square foot studio with a modern kitchen, bathroom and a beautiful view of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The loft is located on the second story of the carriage house behind our main house. There is a single flight of stairs leading up to the space which you will have to yourself. * Fully equipped kitchen with stove and microwave oven * Queen sized bed and a full sized futon couch * Free WiFi * Spacious bathroom with shower * TV, books, laptop and maps of the local area We enjoy meeting our guests but will also respect your privacy. We are happy to interact as much or as little as you prefer and can make suggestions for restaurants, local events, day hikes and guide you to the many attractions in Golden and the surrounding area. Our goal is to make your stay a five star experience. We do ask that you please keep the noise to an acceptable level and observe quiet time starting at 10:00 p.m. Please, no cigarette, e-cigarette, marijuana or other vaporizing device smoking in the carriage house or on the property. Also, no additional guests allowed other than those approved with the initial booking. The carriage house sits behind the main house on a quiet street, near good coffee shops and restaurants. Our home is located within one block of downtown Golden's shops, restaurants and brew pubs, the Colorado School of Mines, Clear Creek and more. Miles of walking, hiking and biking trails are at your front door. If you would like to spend the afternoon in Denver, there is a free shuttle bus which will take you to the Golden light rail station. The shuttle bus stop is just around the corner on 11th street.

Mountain Chalet - Panoramic Views 45 Min to Denver

Serenity at 8,000 feet with Pine and Aspen trees. Address is Littleton, but it's part of the Conifer mountain community. The Chalet is a private quarters above our garage with a separate deck and entrance. We also host elopements and micro-weddings! Overlook mountains to the west and the Denver to the east. Hot tub is on the back deck of main house and overlooks city lights! Groceries, dining and hiking trails only 15 minutes away. There is no A/C. 4WD vehicles are required October - April.
