Lovely, quiet area, not too far from Comporta. Big house with lots of room.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check in. Absolutely recommended!

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

This is a lovely cottage with a private walled garden. There's a good variety plants - fresh mint, banana trees, various flowers, a lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring. There is a gas barbeque and a large garden table for dinner. The hot tub is a real bonus! The cottage is tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. We appreciated the fruit basket, bread and jam. We recommend booking the hot springs in Evora and having a massage. Google inacquaveritas We highly recommend Carlos place - one not to be missed!

This is a real gem. Rural, remote and just what we wanted. The farmhouse was perfect- clean, well equipped and traditional. The pool was lovely and the setting next to shade of the walnut tree was great. We loved the sheep with their bells, the swifts and owls. Close enough to enjoys meals out in Estremoz but secluded enough to leave the world behind. We were well looked after by Maria and her son. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Herdade. Everyone was very friendly and was always ready to help, contactable and with quick solutions for little things that were needed. Great space for family vacations and/or just to escape the hustle and bustle of big cities, with many lovely animals that made the stay even better. Being a little bit away from supermarkets/restaurants (which was good for the type of vacation we were looking for), we advise you to do all your shopping before arriving, to make the most of the space and time. We'll definitely be back!

For those who want to rest and have a few days in touch with nature this is the ideal space, in fact, it has completely exceeded our expectations!!! Pool is fantastic, all the surrounding space of the house too! The internet has a great signal! The house is equipped with all you need. It's an experience we plan to repeat! Spacious house for a group of 12 adults. The outside is fantastic and we could bring dogs was great. We were welcomed with a welcome basket.

Lovely location! I was extremely happy because the beds were very comfortable. I loved the layout of the place as well. Very close to some awesome restaurants and many other great spots to visit in the area.

Great location and residence. Perfect for those who want to get away from the city and enjoy the calm of the town. The experience was great, from check-in to check-out. I have a large dog and have been paying attention to leaving a large bed, such as bowls for food and water. It's the little details that make a difference. We're sure we'll be back!

Lovely house in a beautiful location! Perfect for disconnecting and recharging!.. Close to a beautiful town. Make sure your vehicle is high enough of the ground since the roads on the approach are Rough. But it’s all part of the charm! Would stay again and would recommend!!

Staying at Diogo’s near Grândola, Portugal, was incredible. The house is a spacious, classic Alentejo-style home, filled with warm woods, straw accents, and linens, evoking the elegance and comfort of the Sublime Hotel in Comporta. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—luxurious mattresses, mood candles, and flexible lighting created the perfect atmosphere. I haven’t bought the mattress yet, but I’m tempted! Discreet decor added a sophisticated but cozy touch, making it feel both stylish and homely. Practical touches were everywhere, from sun hats to a credenza stocked with beautiful crockery, spices and dry ingredients for a good cook. Despite its proximity to the motorway, the location is serene; you can’t see or hear it, so it never disturbs the tranquility. The garden was beautifully designed. Enjoyed every mornings having This place exceeded every expectation, blending style, comfort, and thoughtful touches for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Alentejo.

Great location to explore the region. The place was clean with all the amenities, suited for a party of 4. Will definitely stay here again. We love the decorations in the house. Our host was most friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the complementary wine and cheese.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

We had a great stay at Maria Emilia and Fernando's place. The house, spacious, was sparkling clean. Embroidered towels with our hosts' first names, bathrobes available, comfortable bedding, dishes are impeccable and you will have everything you need to cook like at home, nothing is missing. The fridge was filled when we arrived late and we were able to dine. Fruit from the flowers and fresh herbs made us happy. A small present edible every morning at the door proves their knowledge of receiving. Maria Emilia and Fernando are really charming hosts with whom it is interesting to talk, they are so kind, caring and discreet! It's a nice haven of peace where it's good to rest. To be honest, I was a tiny bit worried about renting this place at first, as I had read some previous comments about barking dogs in the area which made me think I would have problems getting proper sleep. Even thought I have perfect hearing, I did not hear a single bark during my 7 nights and I slept like a baby! The nature in the area is amazing and Olga's home could not be located in a better spot. The sunrises and sunsets are from another planet and the gentle sounds of goat bells, birds singing and the crickets at night just add to the pure magic. The pictures I took of the Milky Way I could probably only take in few other places. Magic! The house is big, clean and extremely confortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I am going to miss it! Olga is very friendly, polite and extremely informative in her responses. She answers quickly and to the point. I am sure I will be returning and can highly recommend this house to anybody who wants to disconnect completely.

We warmly recommend it! We were very welcome. The owners are very friendly and very attentive, they managed to make us feel like we have at home. The space is wonderful, calm, in the middle of nature and at the same time we can have fun, swim in the pool, play snooker, relax in the jacuzzi and other good things. Breakfast is varied , of quality and to all tastes. It was prepared with great affection by the owner. A great good to the hosts

Excellent stay in this typical Alentejo house. The natural pool is a real plus in this area given the hot weather in the summer. We will definitely come back!
