We really enjoyed it. The private pool is an excellent positive. Maria and Nuno were very nice and welcoming. It was a very good experience and we hope to go back! :)

We loved the stay, the space is great for large groups and with children. Both Catarina and Dona Gina were quite flexible to maximize the use of the space by the group. Very thank you :)

Casa do Postigo exceeds all expectations, especially in person. Well-equipped, well-decorated and cozy. We were just sorry we only booked one night.

The place was beautiful with amazing amenities. It was very relaxing and in a good location, not far from the main town. I would stay again.

Danielle and I really enjoyed our stay in Carlos and Isabel guesthouse. A few things immediately come to mind when reviewing their guesthouse, like the cleanliness of the house and the beautiful decor. Clearly all of the amenities have been well thought out to make you feel at home and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use their swimming pool. One minor suggestion would be to add a streaming service with the TV. We found Carlos to be friendly and very attentive to our needs during our stay. The location is rural, but only a short 5 minute drive to the city of Évora. There are a couple of small villages within a few minutes drive. In fact Danielle and I enjoyed one of our favourite Portuguese meals in the village of Valverde.

Definitely a great fit for quiet days and away from the hustle and bustle. The home was very well equipped and taken care of. We really want to come back in the summer!

We loved staying in Ana’s place. We’ve never stayed in such an historic building! It was in a great location- walkable to restaurants, public transport and the places of interest. The shower was a little tricky at times and a small heater downstairs would have been useful but overall a great experience.

Despite the nationwide blackout, Maria always tried to be available and communicative with us. We were well received in a well-kept, clean and easy to access house. The photos correspond to reality. Residence welcoming and with all that was needed. It also has a small courtyard in front of the house shared by another Airbnb of the same owner, closed to the outside for privacy. The property is in a quiet area, relatively close to the city centre, with easy access to the entire historic center. Even walking, which I highly recommend for ease and experience. I'm sorry it was a short stay. I recommend and we will repeat if we return to Évora!

I would recommend to anyone looking for a 5-star and 😊 super attentive getaway from the city.

Great house for those looking for a corner in a rural area. It has everything you need for a few relaxing days as a family or alone. For those who travel with children under 3 years old, the interior floor of the house, in the kitchenette, because it is of stone, is not very practical, but nothing that some liteers that the house does not solve. The garden space is excellent for children to play and the pool consoles the adults. The sun exposure of the pool is from noon, but the heat that made itself felt was enough to have a pleasant temperature. It is located between Estremoz and Évora which allows you to take some very nice walks. We spent a few days in a very harmonious family, quiet, chasing babies :) and wanting the week to multiply in days. Carmen was excellent. Esteve always available with great sympathy and kindness. Made us feel truly welcome! It was a happy week. 💙 Thank you, Carmen.

I chose the place to spend my birthday in Évora with 3 more people and I only have positive things to point out! The location of the house is amazing, staying inside the Walls, which allows easy walking access to the most prominent places in the city. The atmosphere is super cozy and familiar and the house is prepared to ensure a great stay. Maria is a super helpful, worried and easy-to-communicate host, and still managed to surprise me by leaving a little cake to celebrate my birthday! Couldn't have had better experience, I highly recommend 😊

I honestly don’t know where to begin I can’t quite describe how wonderful Laura and Donna Fatima are. This place is medicine for the soul. The host went above and beyond and have left an indelible mark on my heart. The estate is stunning. The pool magnificent and the dogs oh my goodness how sweet not to mention a little lamb who thinks it’s a dog and is the funniest cutest little chap. Donna Fatima who speak no English but has a way of communicating that’s so endearing and she understands most of what you say! She’ll show you around the farm and treated us with fresh eggs potatoes and fruit. I cannot wait to return.

The little house is lovely - warm and homely. It is well furnished with a good hot shower and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of extra blankets (we came in the cold season). Parking is right outside the door and the back garden has a covered area as well as a direct sun area- chairs table and sun beds. There is a small laundry, lines and pegs. We would thoroughly recommend.
