The Lady of the Lake is a cosy cottage with stunning views across Lake Windermere to the fells. The cottage provides the perfect base to relax and explore the Lake District and all it has to offer, from Horse Riding to Hiking, Boat Trips, Cycling and many more activities. The cottage has a private parking space, EV charger, shared private jetty, and is ideally situated just a 15 minute walk from Windermere train station and centre where you will find an array of shops and traditional pubs.

Built in 1878, our traditional Lakeland cottage has 2 private parking spaces and is situated in the heart of Windermere, one minute's walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs. It is a well appointed country style cottage offering space and great features. It has a private patio with dining furniture at the rear. The sitting room, kitchen & dining room are on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly installed bathrooms are on the 1st floor and a TV room and utility room are in the cellar.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.
