We only had a one night stay but the property was so clean and beautifully presented. Our children loved the games! The hot tub was lovely and Hollie was hugely helpful and very responsive when there was an initial issue with it working. Thank you!

A beautiful cottage set in beautiful grounds. Perfect for our teenage girls who loved the hot tub and fire pit. Amanda our host was great and very helpful. Would definitely would love to stay again.

We were looking for a last minute one night stay and found this little wonder…fantastic barn with everything you need even had some bread and milk and butter left for us. Our little dog loved running around in the spacious outdoor area and later in the sunshine whilst we relaxed in the hot tub. Comfy bed and great space in the bathroom with a shower. We would definitely stay here again. Lovely pub on site very friendly people. The food van was a welcome too as it was bank holiday Monday and we got some good food from him. A massive thumbs up from us 👍

We booked this property to celebrate my mums 60th birthday and to say it was perfect is an understatement. We had a lovely long weekend in the hot tub with lots of BBQ’s. We also had 2 dogs and we felt so at ease that they were running around in the secure field. Will definitely be rebooking! Thanks Lucy & Co

As a family of foodies and in particular loving shellfish West mersea and the cottage were absolutely perfect for us. Our two teenagers loved the hot tub and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking good food in the small but perfectly formed kitchen and sitting in the sunshine in a very pretty deck watching the world go by. three nights was a treat, But perhaps a few extra just to make sure we could try all of the wonderful food offerings West Mersey provides . Thanks Roland for being a great host - we loved the cottage and would love to return.

The Little Owl is an absolutely beautiful place, and I truly couldn’t recommend it more for anyone seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of the British countryside. We mostly cooked our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen, but the location was ideal for exploring nearby Bury St Edmunds, and we even managed a lovely day trip to Cambridge for some shopping after check-out. Hayley is a fantastic host—everything was seamless from start to finish. She was always quick to respond and we really appreciated the flexibility with early check-in and late check-out, where possible. One of the highlights was soaking in the hot tub, surrounded by stunning views—it honestly felt like our own little world. We had such a wonderful time and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. I can’t recommend Hayley and The Little Owl enough!

House was really nice, the surroundings were lovely and the area was really quiet! Chloe was very accommodating when problems occurred she responded very quickly and tried to resolve them fast. Overall, quite a nice stay aside from some small issues!

We had a great couple of nights here. The cottage is perfect for a cosy stay, made even better with the addition of the log burner. The cottage is spacious, clean and has everything you need. The welcome package was a nice touch, we had a lovely breakfast the following morning. It was nice to be able to walk around the grounds too, where we saw some wildlife. Tony was a great, friendly host - answered any questions we had and also gave us recommendations for things to do locally and a bit further afield.

What a fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful with a lovely courtyard are to sit out in - but go out through the gate and you are across the road from the beach or a few yards from the centre of town. We booked it when we were visiting family in the area and will hopefully do so again when we next go down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Polly"s lovely cottage Chisholm's. Very well equipped and very cosy. Fabulous grounds and garden which is a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing area to chill out in. Great location, a very special place to stay. Thank you Polly

Lovely stay in this cosy, comfortable cottage. Perfect for four of us and a small dog. The tall ones did bang their heads but it’s unavoidable in a such a historic building. Great location and walkable to everything you could need including oysters.

Such a gorgeous little seaside cottage. Had everything you need and in such a great location. Very short walk to beach and all the shops & pubs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Em was so informative and helpful. 5*! Xxx

We had a very relaxing and restorative couple of days at Rodrigue and Claire’s lovely cottage. It is quiet, with many walks around, and a beautiful garden to discover bit by bit. You will find all you need if you fancy cooking, alternatively many excellent pubs and restaurants are within 4 min walk- 10 min drive. We left super-charged and will certainly come back. Thank you!

Well what can we say, perfect location/very very clean and tidy. Loads of lovely touches to make us welcome, it was better than a hotel. Loads to do locally and just short drives out to all the sort after locations you may needs. Make sure you go to Mrs T’s fish & chip shop in Southwold on the beach it’s a must. Everything was perfect and Kerry & Adam are lovely, what a stunning part of the world they live in. They even supplied some milk/fresh eggs/crisps/biscuits, towels/linen were scrumptious oh and the beds extremely comfortable. Basically your mad if you don’t book here👍 Matt/Zara & boys thank you again x

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

Fab cottage perfect location for exploring the area . Great gastronomy pub 2 minutes walk . Lovely friendly village great parking facilities outside the property or allocated parking. We would definitely be booking again in fact I have booked for my parents.

A lovely, clean and well equipped cottage in a quiet village. David is a great host providing lots of little extras which were greatly appreciated and responded to messages very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Coach House. The property is beautifully designed and the decor is very stylish. The house was very clean throughout and we had everything we needed for our stay. Charlie was very quick in replying with any queries that we had throughout our stay also. We thought the paintings throughout the house were a lovely touch to the property also. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We had a wonderful time at Yem's cottage. The location os quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to a good pub and other amenities. The cottage really is beautiful and a home from home, packed with everything you'd need for your stay. The photos really don't do it justice! We loved having the garden; my daughter loved the space to run around and we enjoyed a few dog walks in the local area. Yem is a fantastic host who replied to messages politely and promptly, the bottle of birthday bubbles was a nice surprise on arrival. All in all our weekend was brilliant and we would absolutely stay again, thanks for having us.

The cottage is in a perfect location for amenities and for country walks. We parked the car and never used it till we went home. The cottage itself is fabulous and so tastefully decorated. Would recommend and stay again

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie Cottage. Jo was very responsive to messages and accommodating as we booked on the day of our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us grown ups and toys and chocolate left out for the little ones. The space was modern, clean and very child friendly. Only a short walk to the beach too! We would definitely return ☺️

We had a very relaxing 4 night stay here. A peaceful location with friendly hosts. Brookes cottage was a great base for exploring the area. A comfy bed and good shower and a lovely garden to relax in after a day out.
