Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

With the possibility of renting a boat in the boathouse in the garden (20 ft and 60 hp trailer) with access to a slipway, kayak and paddle board. Perfect for summer activities. At the boathouse there is a jetty with a bathing ladder. The house has two bedrooms. Double bed in one and double bed with bunk in the other. The property is located 4 km from the center of Lyngdal. 3 km from Sørlandsbadet. 8 km from Handelsparken.

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, museum and hiking areas. Living room and kitchen on the 1st floor, exit to the backyard from the kitchen. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a small balcony. Beds cannot be shared. There is no parking by the house, but a parking permit in the nearby area can be purchased. There is a smart TV in the living room. Guests must use their own login to use streaming services.

Flekkefjord is located between Kristiansand and Stavanger and with about 1.5 hours drive to Sirdal. The house is located in a detached house area with about 5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk from Flekkefjord city center. The single-family housing area appears to be family-friendly with several playgrounds, lake, beach and forest in the immediate vicinity.

We rent out our funky house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018 and has a high standard. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and three bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom that is associated with this bedroom. Outside there is a large terrace with a lot of space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

A 17 foot fishing boat with echo sounder and chart plotter is included. The dock is a 2 minute walk away. As a registered tourist fishing business, you can legally export your catch from Norway.

Our house is located in a beautiful, quiet location and with views of the fjord and mountains only about 20 minutes (by car) from Preikestolen, probably the most famous excursion destination with us. The Kjerag is also easily accessible from here. Pets are welcome. We warmly welcome a maximum of 6 guests. You will stay in the lower, fully furnished apartment. In summer, sun from 10 am to sunset. We are a registered fishery, so fish export is possible

Salmon river 100 meters, lake about 400 meters and golf course with 6 holes is 40 meters from the house. Many lovely hiking areas nearby. The house is on a farm with sheep, chickens, cats and dogs. The whole house is rented out as a holiday home.
