Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Modern Functionalist house in scenic Viga in Spind for rent. The house was built in 2018 and is to a high standard. The first floor has an entrance hall, laundry room, bathroom, TV room with sofa bed and three bedrooms with two single beds in each room. Fishing and swimming opportunities. The house is located 400 meters above sea level with ski lifts and slopes in winter. The house is suitable for 2 families who want to vacation together.

Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster yard and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was erected on the farm, the remains of the house were set up as a living room until the barn and today appears as an intimate and cozy little house with lots of history and soul. All amenities are of course completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

The boat is not available in October and until the end of April.

Very special and completed log house in Setesdal style. The house has shoreline towards Otra and spectacular views of Reiårsfossen waterfall which is close by. Make a good dinner in the large kitchen in the house or see if the kids dare to swim in the slightly cold river. Take the car up or down Setesdalen and visit various action attractions or experience the view and silence up the hill. In the evening you can enjoy birds singing and sleep in built-in, rose-painted beds. NB: We usually arrange flexible check-in and check-out!

Bed linen and towels are not included in the rent but are available on site and can be rented for NOK 250 per set The cleaning is not included in the rent. Supplement for cleaning is 1200 NOK if the tenant does not clean himself.
