Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

High standard, modern, spacious and comfortable with panoramic views of the mighty mountains and Giljastølsvannet. Sauna by the water. Nice hiking terrain for all seasons with many hiking trails. Good starting point for day trips to Månafossen, Preikestolen, Lysefjorden/-botn, Kjerag, Jærstrendene, Byrkjedalstunet, Gloppedalsura. Short distance to Kongeparken, Stavanger and Sandnes. Fishing and swimming opportunities. The house is located 400 meters above sea level with ski lifts and slopes in winter. The house is suitable for 2 families who want to vacation together.

Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster yard and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was erected on the farm, the remains of the house were set up as a living room until the barn and today appears as an intimate and cozy little house with lots of history and soul. All amenities are of course completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

The house is located at the end of the road, so there is no traffic in the area. 70 meters to the beach and jetty with boat that is included in the rent. New boat Pioneer 14 with 9.9 Yamaha with electric start and chart plotter available from 20.06. Before 20.06, it is GH14 with 9.9 suzuki. Long beach that is suitable for the little ones. Large lawn with trampoline by the beach. Sup boards and kayaks can be borrowed. By boat you are in Norway's finest archipelago with many small islets and islands. Sauna available for tenants.

We rent out our funky house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018 and has a high standard. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and three bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom that is associated with this bedroom. Outside there is a large terrace with a lot of space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Eldhus i Bø.

We rent the brewery/firehouse on the farm with large lawn at their disposal. Here children can play, kick football, etc. The house has a kitchen, living room, sauna and bathroom on the ground floor. On the second floor there are two bedrooms where there is room for six people in total. The first bedroom has two single beds. This bedroom you have to go through to get to the other, which contains a double bed, and two single beds. The house is rural. Opportunities for many activities nearby !!

New timber house with a fantastic view of the entire boat rental from Homborøya in the east to Justøya in the west. Large and spacious house with high ceilings in the living room/kitchen. Here there is sun from morning to evening, and many opportunities to sit outside, or in the armchairs in front of the large windows. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the amazing views. There are no neighbors. It is a 500m walk to the sea. Possibilities to rent a rowing boat. Great hiking areas.

Stay in a charming countryside guesthouse with peaceful views, a spacious outdoor area, and thoughtful amenities. Start your day with birdsong, morning sun, and coffee on the terrace, and end it by the fire, taking in the view of forested hills. Plenty of berries and mushroom in the area. You're located midway between Kristiansand and Evje ca. 40 min to the Zoo, Sørlandssenteret, rafting, climbing and the Mineral Park. Hiking trails, swimming spots, and fishing lakes are close by.

Very special and well-designed log house in Setesdal style. The house has a beach line towards Otra and spectacular views of Reiårsfossen which is very close. Make a good dinner in the large kitchen in the house or see if the kids dare to swim in the slightly cold river. Take the car up or down Setesdalen and visit various action attractions or experience the views and tranquility up on the mountain. In the evening, you can enjoy bird song and sleep in built-in, rose-painted beds.

Vineyard on Tromøy

Welcome to the vineyard on Tromøy - Myra Gård! Right in front of the house, 3,150 vines were planted in 2024, and guests can experience the vines in the different stages throughout the year. A lovely property located right by Raet National Park on Tromøy. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet in beautiful nature, the house is located just 200 meters from the entrance gate to Raet National Park on Spornes.
