The nearby Truckee River offers great fly fishing and summer recreation. In the winter, Northstar is 10-15 minutes away and Palisades Tahoe is 15-25 minutes. On days you don’t feel like heading to the slopes, the hill behind the Glenshire General Store is a fun local sledding spot for kids. Inside, the home is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Downstairs features open-concept living, dining, and kitchen spaces that make it easy to cook, gather, and relax together. There’s also a separate, private office if you need to work remotely. The downstairs primary suite includes a steam shower and a deep soaking tub, creating a spa like space to unwind. There’s a king size bed with a remote controlled gas fireplace and wall mounted TV as well as sliding door to wander the gardens. Upstairs, you’ll find a large game room with a big TV, sound system, and wet bar —perfect for movie nights or hanging out after a day outside. The upstairs bedrooms have queen size Beautyrest pillow top mattresses, an en-suite bathroom in the bedroom overlooking the back lawn and a built in desk in the other bedroom. The family room also has a queen bed and large closet. Practical details make mountain living easy here. There’s an enormous mudroom with laundry just off the garage. Outside, the generous patio and lawn offer space for summer games, and the gas fire pit is perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. Please note: The owners do not allow animals due to pre-existing allergy conditions for management and guests. Whether you’re here for skiing, river days, biking into town, or simply enjoying the slower pace of mountain life, this home makes it easy to settle in and enjoy Truckee the way locals do. Prosser Dam Paradise- Close to town and reservoir

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home on Prosser Dam Rd. Located minutes from Prosser Reservoir and a short distance to downtown Truckee, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has all the space you need for a wonderful stay. 6 guests are included in the price of the reservation. There are two sleeper sofas and the house can accommodate up to 8 guests. Guests 7 and 8 would be $50 per night per guest. Pets are allowed for a negotiable fee $$ depending on how many nights and how many pets!
