Proximity to excellent fishing waters, mountains, berry and mushroom forests. In the neighboring village of Laxsjö, there is a grocery store that is praised for its nice service and selection. Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Move into the old school cafeteria where the church's students ate their school lunch in the 1940s and 1950s. The wood stove that crackles in the kitchen is the same one the lunch lady cooked lunch on. She herself lived on the upper floor and we offer her kitchen with adjacent bedroom and bathroom. Quiet and peaceful in the old timber building. Outside, you can enjoy mountain views or visit Frösön's beautiful church, which is next to the rectory where the host couple live with their dogs and cats.

Relax, dive into the lake or why not put on cross-country skis outside the door in the winter? When Storsjön roars, you can light the fire & look out through the panoramic windows & enjoy Oviksfjällen on the horizon. Here you can be on your own and disconnect. We do not have electricity at the mountain farm, but we have gas heating for water and a gas stove in the kitchen. In winter there is no road to the cabin, but we can transport you in with a snowmobile. Feel free to ask us before you book. Water in sanitary facilities and hot tub is shut off in winter.

Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
