The main portion of the home is a converted grain bin dating from the late ‘70s, and contains the living room, dining area, a partial kitchen, a half bath, and the master bed. The remainder of the home is an alcove with the stove and microwave, a laundry room, full bath, a second bedroom addition, and a single car garage. Please note that the most convenient entry into the home is through the second bedroom. Covington has hard water, please be aware there will be calcium clouding on fixtures.

Historic 1815 Farmhouse

President Andrew Jackson owned the house and farm in the early 1800’s until conveying it to his ward John Jackson in 1831. The house has been renovated and modernized, all the while keeping the old world charm.
