Bathroom upstairs and a downstairs loo. There is a pub serving food in the village and a farm shop and cafe at Sledmere house which is a 5 min walk away.

It is a renovated 200 year old farm building which has been lovingly restored to retain its original features including a deep well with glass top (reinforced!) pulleys and metal work. Elm Tree Cottage at Cottage Farm has been beautifully restored to a very good standard, with quality furnishings and décor which retains the traditional cottage feel. The cottage is all on the ground floor, has its own beautiful private garden and parking for 1 car. Directions it is in the village of Foxholes please turn into Cottage Farm off the main road and Elm tree cottage is in the far left hand corner of the forecourt just up the 2 large steps , you will see the cottage sign.

Including Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, also york,Malton , Beverly, Yorkshire moors, and RSPB bempton cliffs. Spend your days walking on the beach or moors and wolds, then enjoy a drink at our village pub, then back to the cottage to sit by the log burner.
