The cottage is connected to the village of Sönnerhult but in a private location so you only see the village from a distance. Suitable for everyone in a village that has everything from Astrid Lindgren's world to excursion destinations in the Hultsfred Festival's tracks. In the nearby area, there is an elk park, swimming areas, summer cafes, adventure park, Emil i Lönnebergas Katthult and farm shops.

Welcome to our charming farm just outside Vimmerby in the heart of Småland! Here you live in a detached and pleasant home, surrounded by pastures with horses and sheep. The farm is lively and close to nature - a place for you who want to get away from the city's pace without sacrificing comfort. The farm is part of a small village community with some neighbors nearby, but there is still a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful nature right at your doorstep. Please note that animals are directly adjacent to the house.

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

The yellow house in the old festival town of Hultsfred

This little yellow house is situated in the legendary festival village of Hultsfred - where one of Sweden's first and biggest festival took place from 1986-2009. You find the house between the central village and the beautiful park that used to be the festival area and today host a lovely scenery, a camping area and historical wooden houses kept as they were back in the 1800s. We rent out the house based on self-service which means you as a guest is responsible for cleaning before you leave.

A tasteful cottage with double bed in a sleeping room and up to five madrases on a spacious loft. Sauna and veranda, BBQ, garden furniture, playground. Nice, quiet life at the countryside. Trampoline, lots of playgames and books. A great place for children! 200 m to bathing place with boat. This house is situated close to my own house, we will be neighbors during your stay. Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The 30 sqm house contains a fully-equipped kitchen, a complete bathroom with shower, bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, blankets, bed linens and towels are included in the price. Of course, there are TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers. Bicycles are available to borrow, it is only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city center. PLEASE NOTE: The house has been expanded in 2025 to add a proper bedroom.

Enjoy a rural stay with modern comfort and space for 6 – two sofa beds downstairs, one double and two single beds in the loft. Duvets, pillows, kitchen and toilet towels are included. Bring your own bed linen and towels, or rent for 100 SEK/set. Shower and washing machine in a separate room. Garden, forest and meadows nearby. Bathing spot 2.5 km away. Uncleaned stay will incur a cleaning fee of 500 SEK.

In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

Two nearby lakes invite you to swim and picnic. The view is just gorgeous! Astrid Lindgren World is only 18 km away. Virum Elchpark can be reached in 20 minutes by car. From Hultsfred, the narrow-gauge railway runs through Vena/Främsteby towards the coastal town of Västervik.
