Holiday rentals with breakfast in Franklin County

This is my 4 or 5th time staying here! I love it! So excited for things to come for this venue. It would be beautiful and memorable place to hold a special event!

My husband and I were only here for one night while passing through, but we wish we had been able to stay longer! Such a cool place and Phyllis and her husband have given so much attention to detail in restoring the mill house and decorating it. We had so much fun investigating all the details in the house. Be sure to look for the fish in the wine cellar! And Phyllis has gone above and beyond in the amenities provided. We felt so welcome and at home. We may need to plan a trip back to Gettysburg just so we can spend more time in this cool home!

Staying with Linda was great! We had a little trouble with the reservation/connecting with Linda beforehand, but once we got her on the phone, she was very helpful and flexible! Our arrival time was a little late and our departure time fairly early, but she worked around our needs. The place was great for a stop on our long drive and breakfast was just what we needed before we set out the next day. Would definitely stay again and explore more of the area next time!

On a scale of 1-10 this place and the hosts are an 11! The location itself is so welcoming, I felt at home from the second I walked through the door. Pam and Steve are just the sweetest people, they made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Sarah's Alpaca Farm guest house was the perfect getaway for our family. It's even better in person! Sarah thought of everything possible that we would need to be comfortable and at home. The kids really enjoyed feeding the alpacas and petting some of them. There are 3 very sweet dogs that they loved to play with as well. It is about half a mile walk from the guest house to see the alpacas but it's a beautiful picturesque stroll. You can drive there too. No matter which direction you look, the views are breathtaking. At night we took advantage of the thoughtfully set up fire pit out front, where Boots the sweet cat would hang out with us. Sarah's guest house is where you want to be if you're looking for something quiet, peaceful and if you love animals. The super flexible check-in and check-out times was so nice. It's like being on a true vacation beacuse we didn't have to set our alarm clocks to rush out of there. House instructions were kept short and sweet. Thank you Sarah!
