The Sasquatch Inn is a secluded heavily wooded primitive cabin that sits on 32 acres, with some great views of the Smoky mountains. This is a hike-"Up/Down" the mtn. Hike up approximately 1/4 mile. We can also ferry your gear to and from the parking area in our Polaris General if need be but will need to make arrangements for that. The hike "is" uphill. Bring an umbrella and flashlights for your night-time hike up, and hiking shoes. The hike "up" the mountain can be slippery/muddy when raining.

This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
