It is an 8-minute walk (600 m) from Miyazu Station and 5 minutes to the sea. A supermarket, convenience store, and coin laundry are within a 5-minute walk. It is in a prime location, 15 minutes by bike to Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three most scenic spots. At the end of the pine tree-lined road is "Moto-Isegokago Shrine · Manai Shrine", which is famous as a power spot. You can get to Igen's Funaya by bus from in front of the City Hall in about an hour for 400 yen each way. Because it is an old house, it is not very well insulated. It is fully equipped with air conditioning and heating. The walls between the house and the neighbouring property are thin, so please avoid making loud voices or sounds, especially at night. Please refrain from bringing children under 10 years old to stay, as the furniture and household goods are old. It was also the residence of the Edo shogunate patrol officer, and in the Meiji period, it was the residence of Prince Arisugawa Takahito and Prince Komatsu Takahito, and is now designated as an important cultural property by the country. We have rebuilt the annex as an inn, "Miyanaka Kanbei Honten". The name of the house is the same as the sake brewery at the time. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more.
