Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua has history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with her sisters, they fell in love as a nurse. A few years after Edda's death, Prostinne took over Valborg and her husband Prost Steffensen . When he died, Valborg moved to his children, and the house was empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They've taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Architect-designed cabin gem surrounded by sea and mountains

The residence is located in idyllic Storvik, directly at the 1.5 km long Storvikstranden and only 50 meters from the sea. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing water. Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain hiking, paddling, swimming or biking. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you would need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad you have panoramic views to the natural elements from the inside.

Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The apartment is located on venerable Jæra in Glomfjord, here you can find the tranquility with lighthouse in the fireplace and enjoy an amazing view with fjords and mountains as the nearest neighbors. Sit inside and enjoy good food and drink while it blows like the worst outside. Or you can go out and experience fresh northern Norwegian air and nature up close in all kinds of weather. Here it is a short distance to the fjord and mountain water for those who want to try their fishing luck or just go for a long walk.

Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent preferably on a weekly basis. The cabin is located close to tourist information in Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Loft w/ 3 sleeping places. Bathroom w/ washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen w/ stove, fridge, dining table, sofa group, wireless internet and TV (Canal digital). Terrace with seating area, great view and barbecue. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

This beautiful boathouse placed right next to the ocean will give you a once in a lifetime experience. Imagine waking up to an amazing view with all the privacy you could imagine, overlooking the fjord surrounded by the mountains. Cuddle in under warm blankets in the evening, let your heart rate slow down and enjoy the crisp air and the spectacular Norwegian nature. Travel back in time without electricity, and spend the night with water only from the stream and an outdoor toilet.

Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.

Vila Sandhornet Guesthouse

Restored and charming seahouse from 1965. Brightly decorated house of 35 m2, with 2 small bedrooms on the loft. Living room has a dining area and a reading area. Sofabed for extra guests. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside area with garden furniture and campfire pan. Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.
