The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). NEW - Our foresthouse Bambi is built in 2024, and located in the middle of the forests of Gaasterland, close to Oudemirdum. A nice house for a beautiful stay in a natural environment with friends or family! The house is fully furnished with a spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and patio doors to a large terrace. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washing-drying machine and wood-burning stove.

Tastefully furnished holiday home with a spacious terrace and view over the IJsselmeer. Note when booking: The annual Stavers party will take place on the nearby grounds, mid-June 2026. Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the fishing days of Stavoren will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. It's a unique opportunity to experience these events, but they do cause noise nuisance. If you are looking for peace, you better choose a different period. The Hanzekop team.

This national monument from 1750 with a spacious garden and private berth, is on the water in Woudsend. A cozy water sports village between the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. A house that is equipped with all comforts. In the garden, it is wonderful to sit under the umbrella with a view of the boats sailing by. Enjoy the evening with a drink by the magma garden fireplace. In the barn, there is an infrared sauna.

Idyllic cottage to yourself in Giethoorn

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid = 45 minutes walk) Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.
