We are two friends from Finland who have created a friendly and safe central place from where you can explore the rest of the coast. Our local host Praveen will assist you with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of Ahangamas pulse.

This is a first floor apartment on the right side, part of a two-bedroom apartment. The room comes with an attached bathroom featuring hot water and is equipped with air conditioning. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen and living area, complete with all kitchen essentials and a washing machine. Outside, you can enjoy a beautiful green garden with a swimming pool, where you can see birds and monkeys. It’s a quiet and relaxing place, just a 7mins walk to the famous Hikkaduwa surfing beach.

Our private, spacious pool-view bungalows offer a luxurious stay surrounded by lush jungle greenery. Wake up to the sounds of nature, spot monkeys swaying through the palm trees, and enjoy the charm of open-air bathrooms. Just a 5-minute walk brings you to the heart of Ahangama beach town, where you can surf, swim, or explore some of the area's laid-back beach cafés or enjoy the vibrant nightlife.

Amaroo Ground Floor 1

Amaroo is located right in the centre of Hikkaduwa Beach. It exudes a relaxed atmosphere and our garden rooms are the perfect space to rest and unwind after a day of exploring. The rooms are equipped with a comfortable queen bed, safe , open air shower (expect insects) and air conditioning. You can also roll out of bed and be on the beach in 30 seconds. A complimentary breakfast on the beach is included each morning. This room is on the ground floor (no sea view from the room).

Renowned artist Dileepa Jeewantha from Colombo, Sri Lanka designed the designer hotel SAFFRON ROBES LIVING in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka, his birthplace. Not far from the ART GALLERY SAFFRON ROBES, surrounded by tropical plants, a cubic non-conformist design gem was created with currently 4 extraordinary rooms, koi pond-lounge, atrium and small restaurant. The ground floor is decorated in dark tones. The areas on the upper floors are white; based on “Heaven & Hell”.

Please note that the property is located on the main road, so some background noise is part of the setting. We also share the property with two friendly in house rescue dogs, Arana and Nova. Your stay includes à la carte breakfast at our rooftop restaurant.
