We wanted to balance the familiarity of everyday life with the novelty of travel. Both the bedroom and living room have windows facing southwest, so it is beautiful when the bright afternoon sun comes in, but the humidity and dark atmosphere on rainy days make it a very elegant and neutral accommodation.
