Excellent place for the family to stay. Great location to reach MG road. Host and the staff are will keep you over pampered. I have not seen a helpful host like this over the year.

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

I booked the place for the entire month of april. I had some concerns about internet and electricity before going in, but they both worked really well. Tshering is a wonderful host and she was also kind enough to invite me to her house for a tour. The house is exactly as described in the pictures and surrounded by large mountains. Overall, my experience was very positive.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Maple Leaf, Gangtok, hosted by Mr. Kashyap and his wife Nikita. The property is exceptionally spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities. With four large bedrooms, a roomy drawing area, and a fully equipped kitchen, it felt like a true home away from home. What made our stay even more special were our hosts. Kashyap and Nikita were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. We especially enjoyed the delicious and authentic Sikkimese meals they prepared for us—particularly the dal and unique local chutneys, which were a delight! Kashyap also runs a tour and travel service, which we used for local sightseeing and our memorable trip to Nathula Pass. The Innova crysta was very comfortable and the driver Pritam was enthusiastic to show us all the places. Everything was well-organized and hassle-free. Overall, our stay at Maple Leaf was absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Gangtok

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Gangtok! The location is very convenient—just about 5 km from MG Marg, and getting a taxi is never a problem. If you’re driving your own car, you’re welcome too, as the property is close to a dedicated and safe parking spot. What truly made this stay special was the incredible hospitality of the host Sanskriti and her father. They treated me like family—more like guardians than hosts. They were always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was equipped with a brand-new fridge, bed, and cover, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the furniture was from Damro—high-quality and premium. It’s clear that they aren’t just running this place for money; they’re truly passionate about providing the best hospitality possible. Out of all my hill station stays, this has been the best experience so far. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok—you won’t be disappointed.

The place was incredibly cozy and warm with everything you need in a stay. Uppi is one of the sweetest and friendliest guys you will ever meet. Absolutely loved it and will definitely wanna stay here again whenever I am in Gangtok the next time!
