Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

Walking distance to the Wilderness village. Ideal getaway for all couples and families. ( not ideal for small children, stairs in cottage and open balcony) No safety gate at stairs. The property is fully walled and has secure parking on the premises for one vehicle.

Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
