A simple guest house in the countryside in Småland. Beautiful and calm accommodation. The cottage has electricity but not water and sewage. Stove plates are available and fridge, water you get in cans by us or take yourself via a hose. Own well with very good water. An outdoor toilet is next to the cabin. A simple outdoor shower (model "bucket-shower"). Lovely outdoor area with a hammock and outdoor furniture. Bring bed linens and towels. Duvet and pillows are available. Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik, you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with the host). The view of the lake creates conditions for wonderful nature experiences - all year round! In winter, lovely fires warm you and in summer, the lake cools you! With a canoe (rented by the host), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard and have the opportunity to see protected animals, ranging from sea eagles to otters.

Suitable for one or more families to stay together (in the same company). 10 beds are included in the basic price - if more are required: ask in booking. Large kitchen with all equipment you could wish for. You have four bedrooms where you can choose how to distribute your number of beds (two downstairs in the file and two separate upstairs). It offers all amenities and from the garden leads a path to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Welcome to rent our cozy cottage in Grönhult with proximity to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's world 23 km and the summer town Västervik 35 km. The cottage is located inside a gravel road with the forest as the nearest neighbor. A nice child-friendly swimming area is five minutes away by car. Two bedrooms. Bathroom with shower (water heater 50l) No drain so it is a combustion toilet. In the kitchen there is a stove, half fridge/freezer and microwave. There is barbecue outside. For outdoor games there is a dartboard, bokia and kubb.

Just outside Vimmerby city, you can stay in beautiful Djursdala in the large farmhouse Klocketorp. The village is a rural idyll known for its beautiful nature and is 13 km from Vimmerby. The accommodation can give you the opportunity to experience Astrid Lindgren's World and the places around it that are described in the author's books. Djursdala with its rolling hills, the hiking trail Djursdalarundan and the popular restaurant Musteriet is in itself a lovely place to enjoy. The 170 sqm house is perfect for a larger group.

Resource in our cozy cottage, furnished with an eye for warm colors and soft materials. Lilla Stugan is located in the middle of the woods and meadows and has its own bathing area, sauna and boat. It is part of an old Swedish farmhouse on a 10 hectare property located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the surrounding area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the attractively lit terrace.

Our summer cottage is located in the middle of Smålands nature near the small community of Locknevi, 27km from Vimmerby. The property is located on a very quiet rural road from where you can take wonderful bike tours and hikes in our picture book landscape. The next lake with a beach is 5 km away and the Baltic Sea is easy to reach by car.
