Well equipped cottage beautifully located close to the water. The place and houses are cozy and feel like a home, where you thought of everything and created oases and opportunities for recreation and rest. We slept well, enjoyed the sauna and the beautiful surroundings. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with and thoroughly the stay lovely. We would be more than happy to come here again!

The lake house - boats, beach, sauna, dock and barbecue!

Every day we enjoyed the uniquely beautiful view of the wintry lake and the long sunrises and sunsets. On most days, we were able to slide across the smooth ice, skate and go sledging. Then it snowed and we were able to walk into the untouched snowy landscape. There were lots of animal tracks to see (deer, stags, foxes, a moose and even the tracks of a lynx in the forest). The sauna with a view of the lake was also great. The communication with Mattias was excellent, fast, very helpful, with lots of concrete tips and suggestions. A thousand thanks. We can only recommend the house for Sweden fans.

Nice rural larger guesthouse on farm Hedesunda

The house is beautifully located, all around there’s nature and you’ll be immersed in a very quiet area. Close by a natural reserve that you can easily reach by car. If you are in the need of anything there’s a Ica nära in the village close by. Isabel was a very nice host, she was quick and friendly answering to our messages and need.

Relax lakeside in summer

We spent two weeks in August at Jaana's lakeside house. For us (family with two boys, 11 and 13) the days were perfect – a beautiful home on an enchanting lake with a super nice hostess. Jaana responded kindly and immediately to every message and also briefly reached out in between if everything was okay. Her pre-sent descriptions of how to get there, the house and the surrounding area were very helpful and everything exactly as described. Jaana and her family generously provided everything in and around the house: bikes, rowing boat, kayaks, sauna, books, games, etc. The summer drink was also a welcome. So everything felt familiar from the first moment – the ideal requirement for beautiful, relaxing days. If you want to listen to the wind and waves and relax, Jaana is the place to be. By the way, there is already internet, just no wifi – we didn't miss it for a moment.

We had an incredibly nice overnight stay in Skaparbyn. It's an absolutely amazing place. The houses are built with so much care and it was lovely to sit in the big cabin with the huge ceiling height and have dinner. We are happy to come here several times and recommend everyone to visit this very special place. We were 5 people and we were all equally happy in the location!!
