Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Geilo

Spacious home with great living spaces. Nice master bathroom. The small bedroom was a bit cramped for 2 adults, but we were informed of this in advance. Lovely and well-equipped kitchen.

Annike's house was cute and cozy! Super quiet and comfortable, a short drive to Flam with a beautiful backyard. Annike was very accommodating and friendly.

I stayed one night with my wife and 11-year-old son in Gry's house. Very nice and very large house... a little cold on arrival but the ground floor with living room and kitchen warmed up immediately with the wood stoves. The bedrooms upstairs were a little cool but with the blankets provided we had no trouble sleeping. Gry was always very kind and would have allowed us, if necessary, to stay even after checkout time... Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the opportunity to take a boat ride on the river due to bad weather. Recommended!! Thanks Gry, from Giacomo, Alessia and Marco.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

A very nice place with superb location nestled in a valley. Quite and away from the traffic. Clean and well furnished, except that the door heights very very small and cots were small - in width, so we as a couple could not sleep together (had to use the 3rd cot). Nice host too

This place has its interesting family history, love the interior decor a lot, especially the kitchen. But the best part is the garden. We were lucky that it was sunny and we spend the whole morning having breakfast and just chilling. Great starting point for hikes/walks and a great stop on the way from/to Oslo. Kristin met us when we arrived and she was very nice. Much recommended 👍

Highly recommend this home. Cozy and spacious. Close to many good km of cross-country skiing. Everything works fine and nice family on site. We'll definitely be back

Great home and location

When we arrived, it was easy to get in and settle in. A handwritten note and a welcome gift (chocolate and coffee) made us feel welcome. The kitchen was great with necessary utensils to easily be able to cook meals and it was the first time I rented a home where the knives were sharp(!). Other things that we appreciated were that there was soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, toilet paper and wood for the fireplace. It is noticeable in a positive way that this apartment is used by the owners and is not just for rent. There is free parking below the apartment and it took 3-4 minutes to walk to the piste (with toddlers in ski boots). There is also free parking right by the lift where you can buy both lift passes and rent skis. We were asked to vacuum, wipe down all surfaces and dispose of garbage before checkout which was no problem. We can definitely recommend this home!

We spent 2 nights as a family of 4, and had a great time. access to the ski slope, was super convenient, cross country tracks directly in front of the house, and the hill for the sleigh as well. beautiful sunrise every morning, shame we couldn't stay longer

We had a really lovely stay. The location is amazing directly on the ski slope with beautiful views. Fred was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. Remember snow chains - the apartment is located high ⛷️

Another great stay in Geilo. Lene is a great communicator and her apartment is the perfect place for a family trip to the slopes.

Great stay in a great location! The apartment had everything we needed. With a very short way to the ski slope, the kids could run a little alone in the plate lift right next door, while we adults dressed and got ready for the day. Short driving distance to the grocery store We had a great time and would love to come back!

The apartment is great and in excellent condition (new). We were 6 adults and had plenty of room. Convenient with heated garage under the apartment with room for 2 cars. The location is very good in relation to the slalom slope and it is a short walk to/from the hill. Overall very happy with apartment and hosting.

We loved our stay at Lars’ beautiful home in Hemsedal. It was our first time visiting Norway to Ski. The drive from Oslo is beautiful and easy. The check in instructions were simple and easy to find. The apartment itself is stunning and well equipped. The place sleeps 10 but we were a group of 5 and it was perfect. The sun had been out so ski in/out wasn’t possible but defo would be earlier in the season. Walking to the lift took 5 mins. For any British guests reading and wondering whether vastly more expensive compared to France/Austria. I would say the value for money for accommodation far surpasses anywhere we have stayed in other ski resorts. It’s more expensive to eat and drink but not much more. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, the lift staff in particular. The Skarsnuten spa is a must! The toll road is expensive just to pop to the shops ( £32 over 5 days) Only negative is bring our own sheets and towels. Maybe a hire option would be nice to offer. Overall 5 ⭐️

We have stayed in Skrenten several times and are always very happy to return. The house is super cozy, clean and delicious and has every conceivable necessity. Stig is a trustworthy, thoughtful, and proper host who is always quick to respond to emails and is always ready with advice on what we just need to know. Thanks for another super nice stay

We were at Ole's house for 7 days over New Year's Eve and enjoyed the time and the house very much. The house is very large and well equipped. We felt very comfortable and at home from the beginning. Ole was always available and very friendly. The area is beautiful. We will definitely be back. The hosts and the house are highly recommended. Thank you

Very nice place with lots of air and room for the big family we were. The ski buses were a bit irregular; so we drove to the ski center. A car was parked at the nearby KIWI shop; as the driveway was very steep, but was nicely cleared of snow every day. So it was ok to drive up and down in the big car. Really nice host and easy to reach the few times we needed help. A person had forgotten linen; but there were posts on the bulletin board about where you could rent it - it would have been nice to know so we could have rented everyone. Otherwise, the description fits perfectly and we enjoy the stay very much.
