Seensucht - Vacation in the farmhouse on Lake Dranser

Romantic, child-friendly holiday apartment in our farmhouse with a large, idyllic garden in Schweinrich, on Lake Dranser, which is closed to motorboats. 100 metres from the bathing area. Boathouse with private jetty; a canoe, kayaks and a sailing dinghy (sailing experience required) can be hired if required. There are popular equestrian farms in the neighboring towns of Dossow, Berlinchen and Zempow. Garden sauna available on request for the colder months. Please bring a bathrobe and sauna towels for this.

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed three-sided farmstead are built with an oak timber frame. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees have been pruned back, the house can be seen in all its splendour. From May onwards, it then slowly disappears behind the shade-providing foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

In the garden you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Cycling and canoeing are possible directly on site or nearby, as well as swimming on the Elbe or at lakes. For excursions, the spa in Bad Wilsnack, the beautiful forest resort of Seehausen. A few bicycles cost €5 pto day.

The Friesenwohnung is one of three quiet, stylish and comfortably furnished apartments in the listed estate ensemble Below. It is located mainly on the park side and is characterized by a light-flooded, large living-dining room with open half-timbered walls. In the side area there is a French double bed. Next to the kitchen and bathroom is a spacious bedroom with two beds, which is located on the rondel side and invites you to dream and enjoy.

Charming, quiet apartment in the farmhouse with separate access. You will live and sleep on separate levels. The kitchen (freezer, fridge, dishwasher, induction stove, oven, extractor hood) and bathroom (double sink, bidet) are fully equipped. You have your own garden area, a terrace by the house and direct access to our spacious lounge. Unfortunately, the accommodation is NOT suitable for a stay with children!

Away from the hustle and bustle, it offers pure relaxation, a wide view from the large terrace and a very special tranquility. Enjoy the company of chickens, sheep, a small zebu herd, Emil the cat and occasionally the absolutely friendly guest dog Brudi... while you enjoy and explore the rural atmosphere.

Our detached house is located on the southwestern edge of the city centre near the lake with bathing facilities. It is about 5 km to the A24 motorway. The bus (city line) stops every 20 minutes on weekdays about 200 m away. There is no noisy business in the residential area. The network of cycle paths is well developed and a restaurant is within walking distance of about 250 m.
