“Shelter in Place” orders have been issued by both the State of California and Sonoma County. See below. To comply with this order as they relate to short-term rental use, The Finca Guest House's owner (me!) has chosen to temporarily close our booking calendar through July 1st. We hope to see you (back!) at a later date. When opened, all areas will continue to be cleaned with CDC & Airbnb guidelines! *Updates: New baby goats February 17th and May 7th-see photos of kids. “Wow! Dawn has an easy 5-star home & location! The location is perfect with easy access to Healdsburg and the surrounding wineries, but far enough away to feel like you're in a world of your own. Dawn had so many thoughtful touches in her place which makes you feel at home instantly. She also has many great recommendations for wine and food. We can't wait to get the opportunity to come back and spend a nice long, relaxing, weekend in the Alexander Valley at Dawn's guest house. Mike”
Welcome to the Waterloo Wine Retreat! We are located just less than a block away from the heart of downtown Cloverdale where you will find local bars, restaurants, shops and festivities. We are situated close to some of the best wine regions in the area including Dry Creek Valley, Anderson Valley and Napa Valley and only 15 minutes away from Healdsburg. This is truly a wine enthusiast or a cyclist’s paradise.
“Superhosts ourselves, we had been hosting at our bed and breakfast for nearly 3 months straight and during the pandemic meant a heavy hit sheltering in place with guests. We’ve also been working to feed and help the chronic homeless and had another big set of events on our schedule coming up. We needed a sweet simple private getaway in a darling town with comfort, cleanliness and courtesy to recharge and we received that and more. We arrived during a heat wave and not only had ceiling and floor fans but Kristi offered yet another one. What we needed was some healing lotion since I walked for 4 miles in the sun and had quite a burn. Within minutes there was a large organic lavender lotion left on our cozy porch. There were loads of coffee pods, and a solid basic set of tools plates pans and supplies in the kitchen, like oil, vinegar, jams and cold filtered water, and an ice maker which came in handy. They do not lie! Within 3 minutes you are walking down their lovely main street with landscaped gardens sculptures art and sweet shops we were sad not to see open due to the sheltering. We will definitely come back and thank Kristi and her family for hosting us!”
Newly remodeled small apt on the ground level of our downtown Geyserville home. It has a full kitchen, queen bed in one bedroom and a twin in a smaller bedroom. The bath has a shower. Walking distance to great restaurants and tasting rooms & art.
“Isobel's apartment is charming and inviting, and perfectly located! It was exactly the home base we needed when visiting Sonoma. Special touches included homemade muffins, fresh cut fruit, and fresh-squeezed orange juice (oranges grown on-site)! She provides a book with local info on hiking trails, restaurants, and more. We enjoyed Geyserville Coffee Company, The Gun Club (no guns, just great drinks and interesting Japanese fusion food), and the amazing Catelli's for a delicious Italian dinner -- all in easy walking distance from the apartment. We met and chatted with Liz, who gave us helpful tips about nearby parks. Bonus that it's dog-friendly!”
