Springfield Cottage is a few steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historic town on Dartmoor. One of oldest properties in the town, it is a warm and welcoming house full of period features dating back to medieval times, including a large inglenook fireplace. A small frontage with lots behind! It has all modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate wet-room style shower room with under-floor heating. Off-road parking (better suited to small to mid sized cars).

This brand new self catering studio is modern with a twist of the country house hotel it is next too (Mill End Hotel). It's located in a beautiful location on the river Teign, with stunning walks to Drogo castle, Fingle Bridge and Chagford. We are 5 minutes from the A30 making it the perfect location to stop off on the way to and from Cornwall, or to explore the moors and best of Devon Being part of the hotel, you can also make use of our facilities and enjoy AA rosette meals if you wish!

It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign

Roughly 500m from the open moorland and within 50m of public footpaths, we are in a prime location for exploring and walking, close to woods and rivers and 3 miles from the town of Chagford. The cabin will sleep up to 4 in two double beds.
