Holiday rentals in Gituru

We loved our stay at Kimakia tea cottage. The place has a bit of a quaint or rustic feel to it, and the "back in" feel is amazing. It's a little chilly so we made good use of the fireplace inside the house. Naomi kept us supplied with firewood. We loved the ambience of the place. Great place for relaxation in nature, listening to the river and the birds right from the porch. Did I mention the tea fields are beautiful? The reviews about the road being steep and muddy are true. We were able to get in and out despite heavy rains during our stay. But it was not easy even with a Land Cruiser Prado, so be prepared.

I truly enjoyed my stay here! The host was very accommodating with my check-in time, even though I arrived a bit later than expected. The pods are just as described - modern and stylish, with a thoughtfully designed layout. Something to note is that the area can get a little chilly, especially in the mornings, but the pods are well insulated and comfortable

Sam and Harriet were very great at responding and advising with local /near by restaurants. Elijah at the house assisted a lot in the checkin and providing firewood for the fire place . Absolutely brilliant! The dogs (Nusu + Teddy and their friends ) amazing add on. Thanks again.

we had an incredible stay at Firefly! From the scenic and sprawling coffee plantation to the avocado trees and the lake, it was a treat for the eyes. Our host was communicative throughout the process. Brian and team were also truly helpful and had much knowledge on the coffee harvests. The team were also available for a turn-down service and no request was too big to accommodate. We are grateful to Snehal and team who also left in our care coffee packages and our own take home coffee which we were able to roast :) All in all, an awesome weekend getaway.

James is a great host. And there is an amazing caretaker by the name Erastus. I would highly recommend the place.

This is a beautiful, serene space, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Waking up to the stunning views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha was a highlight, and the afternoon swims made it even more special. It's conveniently located—not too far from town and close to local attractions—yet peaceful enough if you just want to stay in and relax. There are plenty of games and activities on-site to keep you entertained. The hosts were also incredibly warm and welcoming and they actively anticipated our needs. I would definitely love to come back!

Absolutely divine place to stay. Winifred was so helpful with all our needs and we had a wonderful break. It is a little away from shops but she had an Uber driver to call anytime which was helpful! Would definitely go back!
