The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Situated at the end of an 8 mile single track road off the NC500, it's perfect to explore the Highlands. Adventure, stunning views, silence and the elements, our cosy, romantic Bedstee has an intimate and nostalgic rustic feel. Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Charming Eco friendly Highland Bothy - sleeps two.

Stay in this charming unique highland bothy nestled amidst idyllic woodland overlooking Loch Broom and the mountains beyond. Inside the bothy there is an easy to light wood burning stove , a kitchen area with hot and cold water and gas burner for cooking and traditional style highland box beds with interior lighting. There is a long deep window seat where you can sit to watch birds feeding outside or to enjoy the lovely view. Tor Bothy is low impact sitting in 7 acres of re- wilded land.

Eddrachillis House

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land from shoreline to hill loch. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. The cosy lounge has a wood-burning stove and patio doors onto the front terrace with stunning views. Gorgeous bathrooms and very comfortable large beds.

Please Google or read the description in the photos of what a bothy is. If expecting a five star hotel do not stay here. Bothy with a comfy bed. One up from camping. enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the Strath Oykel scenery. A gas stove and a loo with a view. The Bothy benefits from a fire pit to enjoy sundowners and northern lights from, looking onto a loch. There is also a log burner for those chillier evenings. Bring drinking water and food. Everything else should be there.
