We, the Kenkel family, have been living in the old manor house since 2006, which was built in 1938 by Miss. Paula Rath as a commercial building for the Dammerstorfer estate and was sold in 1942 to the aircraft manufacturer Ernst Heinkel as a hunting lodge. Our 2-hectare farm is located on the L19 between Bad Sülze and Sanitz, about 20 km east of Rostock and 30 km from the Baltic Sea in the middle of an approx. 600-hectare mixed forest. The 3 approx. 150 sqm parking spaces are available for campers, RVs and tents.

Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

Large holiday home with Pool

Our house is spacious and sunny. We can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and at a pinch 11 guests. The house is suitable for people with disabilities. WiFi is available. Separately, we have built a new sauna with an additional double bed/relaxation room and en suite bathroom. In the garden (4000 sqm) lies a large swimming pool (14x5m)), which can be heated on request. The apartment is in a historic building. We modernized in 2002. It was renovated in 2016, preserving its character.

We offer an approx. 65 square meter cottage for rent. Solid amenities. You'll find everything you need. The living room invites you to linger and on the upper floor you will find 2 bedrooms. On an original farm, we have lovingly created a vacation home to dream of. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! A large garden invites you to linger. In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

The semi-detached house is located in an idyllic village (Kessin) 2 km from the city center of Rostock. In the center of town you will find a modern bakery where you can have breakfast or get a piece of cake for coffee in the afternoon. A shopping facility is accessible in 2 minutes by car (Lidl). The beach is 20 minutes by car. (A20 and A19 are directly connected). Kessin is right on the Warnow. A boat and canoe rental can be reached in a few minutes by car.

The small town of Hessenburg is not far from the Saaler Bodden and just a stone's throw from Fischland/Darß.

The manor house offers an unforgettable stay with its charming apartments and lovingly designed representative rooms. Enjoy your stay in the lovingly furnished and spacious Georg suite. The suite, named after the last landlord, has two bedrooms, a large kitchen-living room and a bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub, all with its 85 m². From here you can let your gaze wander over the entire estate.
