Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gooise Meren

Marc checked us in. He patiently explained how everything works. very nice and friendly. he advised ur on travelling to Amsterdam and on good restaurants. I highly recommend his place. warm house

Anique was super kind and always asking us if we needed anything. She welcomed us and cooked a cake for us. The house was beautiful just like in the pictures. The town where it’s located is small but very charming and beautiful. It was very easy to get to Amsterdam from the train station, just like 15 min train ride and very frequent. You do need a car to get to the train station though, it’s not close. We had vehicles. There maybe buses but we had our cars. We loved the stay, the house and location.

Rick was a wonderful host, had a friend greet us on arrival to show us the place and gave us a little tour of the town, since he was away. Greeted us with a bottle of wine and an excellent instruction manual and recommendations of nearby “things to do” He has a lovely home in a walkable town. Rick was responsive to any concern we had. I highly recommend this property and Rick!

Charming house able to accommodate a large family. It is very well located 5 min walk from a train station serving Amsterdam. We enjoyed the garden as well as the game cabinet that allowed us to spend beautiful evenings. Tijn is very friendly and responds quickly. We will definitely take over this house for a future trip to Amsterdam.

The place is exactly like in the pictures - very cozy and located in beautiful town close to Amsterdam. Karline was super responsive and accomodating, which helped us a lot due to hectic schedule. Fully recommended!

Absolutely beautiful house in a lovely town. The house felt homely and had a gorgeous outside cabin. We went for new years and were so amazed at all the fireworks! Would definitely come again.

A true airbnb: a real family house with story, some scars and lots of soul. The hosts make everything for you to feel at home and at ease. You will find all you need in the house - fully equipped kitchen, big tables for family meals, kids paradise with trampoline, lots of toys and treashures in the garden shed. Cozy garden and reading corners for relaxing. Big public parking in front, grocery shop just accross, coffee place on the corner, beach and park within 3 min walk... Everything was easy and the area was safe and quiet. Interesting places to visit around, only our agenda was full this time. Maybe next year.

What a party to stay at Anne's house! We enjoyed the beautiful house and all the things you can do in (the neighborhood of) Naarden. Extra nice because you stay in Anne's house herself, a characteristic and super nicely furnished house. Upon arrival, the cat was already spinning on the couch. As a result, we felt right at home.

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Jorrit was a fantastic host, he was super helpful. accommodating and friendly and always quick to respond. We had been let down last minute by another airbnb host so felt very lucky to find Jorrit's apartment. We loved staying in his beautiful place and would happily stay here again. There's a lovely roof terrace which is a great spot to sit and watch the world go by, when it's not raining! The local shops are very good with some delicious little delis and coffee spots and it's easy to get out and about from this location. Highly recommend! : )

Wonderful week long stay in this beautiful ground floor apartment. Was perfect for our family of three. The location could not be better as it is within easy walking distance to the museums (Rijks, Van Gogh, Moco, Stedelijk), outdoor market, bars and restaurants. Would whole heartedly recommend.

A top accommodation, a whole experience

Awesome location, comfortable bed. Hosts enjoy taking care of their place and guests. The check-in was in person and no self check-in option available but hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.

Alexander was very responsive before and throughout our stay in the studio apartment. Great location. He was very accommodating with his check-in and check-out. He and his wife gave a special little gift of cookies for my daughter who was celebrating a birthday trip. I highly recommend this place and Alexander as a host.

What a great stay! I had a last minute opportunity to head to Amsterdam to join my parents on vacation…their hotel was sold out, so I was on my own. I found this gem about a mile from City Center, super accessible by foot or tram to everything! Thank goodness Jorrit was there to greet me and help with my heavy suitcase…the stairs (2 flights) were SUPER narrow on the treads (seems to be the case everywhere in the city) and about as wide as my suitcase. But once upstairs, the place was exactly as described…plus a lovely welcome basket with Dutch treats! I was prepared for no AC, but there was a recent heatwave so it was hottt. But it cooled down and was beeezy with the windows open and fans on. Very safe neighborhood, and even a pub within 100 steps (but not noisy or rowdy). The kitchen was well stocked, so I saved on things like salt and pepper and EVOO and basics. Jorrit gave lots of GREAT recs on where to go & what to do. A super stay and I’d definitely rent here again! Thanks!

We had the unit at end of the street, which made it private and peaceful. The unit was comfortable, good beds and in a very central location

We had a lovely family holiday for 3 nights. The property has been beautifully done up and was extremely well resourced with all catering equipment. There were lots of different areas to relax in and we particularly enjoyed all the outdoor seating areas as we were lucky to mostly have good weather. The tennis court is great (though could be difficult to retrieve balls that went over the walls/hedges). Murielle gave us some helpful tips for local places to explore.

Lovely location; the owner’s family live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! Wander Island is a really good restaurant. Lake is wonderful. Only 30 mins from Amsterdam by Park and Ride.

A beautiful stay! The place was exactly as described – very clean, cozy and perfectly equipped. The location was fantastically beautiful and ideal for relaxation. I would highly recommend this place!

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautiful, clean, relaxing and extremely convenient to get around town via bus/metro. We walked every morning around town because the town is extremely charming with several restaurants and a market 2 blocks away. I made breakfast every morning in the beautiful kitchen which had everything one would need. The host was so incredibly amazing, he tracked my flight and knew I would be arriving hours before I told him I would be so he was waiting for us which was amazing after a long flight. He was so sweet, courteous and caring. We were greeted with a warm welcome and many, many treats for us in the refrigerator. From eggs, milk, selection of fresh breads, sweets, fruit, wine, a delicious pear juice, selection of deli meats, butter, and many more items. The warmest welcome we’ve ever received. As if that’s not enough, the AC worked great! The pics don’t do it justice. This is a must stay! Thank you so much for everything!!

Beautiful amenities. Modern, warm and extremely clean house. Everything is available in terms of amenities, which is really appreciated. Great bedding by the way. Calm assured, a real joy to hear the birds singing! Great scenery for those who love nature. Close to Amsterdam as well as Sightseeing places. We thank Patricia for her responsiveness and very clear instructions. We had a great time recharging!
