Thomas's home was perfect for our family during our holiday. We are a famiy of 6 and it was plenty spacious, clean, quiet, and safe. It was nice to be a little outside Amsterdam. Abcoude is an absolutely charming town. The house was well-appointed, not cluttered, very clean, and very modern. Thomas was always responsive, helpful, and accomodating. We highly reccomend?

This is a beautiful home 20 minutes from Amsterdam. The home is very well kept and gorgeously decorated. We rented a car and had no problem finding parking in front of the home every day we stayed here. 100% recommend.

The accommodation was very well equipped, especially the toys and the trampoline our daughter enjoyed very much. With 1-2 young children, Kiry's house is really ideal. The house is well furnished, we immediately felt comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Mattijs’s place. The house was beautiful, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was spacious and cozy, where we spent a lot of time relaxing. Our toddler especially enjoyed playing on the trampoline and interacting with the friendly cats. Mattijs was an excellent host—helpful, responsive, and flexible with check-in and check-out times. We highly recommend this place and would love to visit again!

We had a lovely time in a very beautiful area. Lots of local towns to explore with great restaurants and bars and walks. It was our first foreign holiday with our dog and we all had a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic stay at Joëlle’s house! We travelled with two children aged 6 and 2 who loved the play gym, trampoline and sand pit with digger! It really felt like a home away from home with kids as it had all the amenities you need: high chairs, kids crockery, toys etc. The house is stunning, so much so that people passing by stopped to ask us about it. You can swim in the river in front which our 6 year old loved. Joëlle was very responsive and checked in to see how we were. The location is really beautiful and quiet. We used the bikes with the house so didn’t need a car but it did mean we had to time buses and trains very carefully as the bus to the house is only every hour. I think if you want proper freedom then get a car but it’s not mandatory as you can travel in to Amsterdam/Utrecht in 1h/1.5hrs, which we did a few times. Weesp is great and has nice restaurants and you can hire a boat nearby which is worth it! We would love to go back again!

Jeannot was the best host from start to finish! He provided an amazing advance PDF of Amsterdam information and communicated via Whats App throughout. He even paid my tab at the local ice cream parlour after I discovered they did not take credit cards and the closest ATM was broken. The location is perfect for a stay with a large family. It was a great place to start and end the day and so easy to get to the city center from.

Host was very kind and friendly and the location was absolutely right next to amsterdam.

We had a great time at Cecile’s home for our family’s first vacation to the Netherlands. Both the home and the town of Loenen aan de Vecht are beautiful. From the moment of booking to checking out Cecile was responsive, helpful, and friendly. She was also flexible and allowed us an early check in. We were celebrating one of my children’s birthday while visiting & she purchased a cake for us to have ready for our arrival as well as some treats - even had fresh eggs, cheese, and milk waiting for us. The house was clean and well organized with many amenities. The “house manual” provided had useful info about the house as well as great resources and recommendations for the town. We enjoyed biking around the village and visiting the bakery and several restaurants all within walking distance. Getting to and from Amsterdam and surrounding towns was quick and easy- Cecile also gave driver recommendations which was a very helpful resource. Great house/host! Hope to visit again!

Dennis is a very nice man, we did not have any problems with check in or check out, the house is beautiful and decorated with everything. You hardly need to bring anything. The kitchen the bathroom bedrooms were all nice and wonderful.

We had a wonderful holiday cycling, boating and relaxing. The house is in a fantastic location and very private. Rik, the host, provided us with lots of restaurant recommendations and organized the hire of a boat for our two weeks. Communication was easy and excellent and the whole process was without drama. If you have not tried a holiday in the Netherlands (as we hadn’t) and you like fresh water swimming, great restaurants and drinks on a terrace watching the wildlife then this good be the place for you. The accommodation is in a unique location overlooking the beach and North Sea. It’s tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Even has its own private fitness equipment and there is also the use of an indoor pool. Everything was immaculate and every detail from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Luna’s mother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some outstanding local tips. It would be a perfect location for a larger gathering as Luna also runs a Beach House opposite. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, an active beach holiday or simply a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of IJmuidens coastal charm.

We spent the Easter weekend here with 6 adults and 3 children. Everything was there No requests for the accommodation remained unfulfilled. For families with small children, it can be said that a playground or the like is not on the property, but this has nothing to do with the house or the hosts. The bike paths around the house are a dream. Thank you for this opportunity to spend such family time.

Great place! The cottage is located in an enclosed housing estate, there are plenty of green spaces in the area, you can walk a lot. The interior of the cottage has recently been refreshed, furniture different than in the photos, but it is definitely a positive change. Very comfortable layout. We were 7 adults and a child, every family/couple had their own room, and we could spend the evenings together in the spacious living room. I'd love to come back!
