Holiday rentals with lake access in Government of Amsterdam

We’ve enjoyed staying at Gerrit’s place. Host was friendly and communicated well. House has a lovely little garden 🏡, and beautiful surroundings 🌳🏡. It’s a peaceful neighborhood! highly recommended :)

Hans’s house was beautiful and very personalised, I felt right at home from day 1. Thanks for the wine bottle and the helpful instructions. I hope we get to stay there again next summer as it was really excellent to access the park quickly. The only slight downside is that you need to cycle about 20mins or take 35 mins tram to reach the centre and there aren’t much places to have dinner nearby after 8/9 so be careful if you like to dine late. Otherwise excellent airbnb option and looking forward to staying there again in the future!

We spent a lovely week at Marjolein’s beautiful home. The house is even more spacious than the pictures suggest and it was totally spotless from top to bottom. Everything we needed was available and Marjolein had thought of everything. The beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer meant we went home without suitcases full of laundry! The location of the house is very convenient - five minutes walk to the tram and 10-15 minutes from Central Station. Marjolein and her husband were responsive to any queries we had and were both friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this lovely home if you are seeking somewhere close to Amsterdam! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Stay on the Water! Staying at this river Airbnb in Amsterdam was hands down one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences of my travels. The location is beyond dreamy — right on the water, with stunning views of the canal life drifting by. Waking up to the gentle ripple of the river and sipping coffee on the deck felt like something out of a movie. ✨ The interior was cozy, stylish, and spotless — you can tell the hosts put a lot of love into making the space warm and welcoming. Every little detail, from the plush bedding to the curated local decor, made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were absolute gems — super communicative, thoughtful, and even left us a welcome gift with local treats . They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and explore, and made check-in a breeze. Being gently rocked to sleep on the river, then waking up to swans gliding past the window… I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Amsterdam

Everything went great with Friso, who is was a proactive and accessible host. Lovely place and lovely part of town.

Michael was an extremely welcoming host, who gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do in and around Amsterdam. Incredibly responsive to any questions we had and very friendly when communicating. The house was very well kept with plenty of space for 5 people with comfortable beds and plenty of furniture for us to chill on, in our downtime. Overall a fantastic experience and would stay again.

Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno a Diemen: la casa di Fons era spettacolare. Accogliente, pulita, gli spazi ampi. Fons un padrone di casa magnifico: sempre disponibile con consigli e indicazioni, ci ha fatti sentire come a casa nostra, lasciando a nostra disposizione 4 biciclette (eravamo in 4) e tante comodità in casa. Gli ambienti erano esattamente come in foto: la casa dava un senso di calore, come fossimo da un amico. C'era di tutto oltre i soliti the e caffè: è un segno di grande e generosa ospitalità, che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Un piccolo problema con la lavastoviglie, ma Fons molto disponibile nei nostri confronti si è occupato di tutto. Raccomandiamo questa casa a cui abbiamo dato 5 stelle: pulita, curata e accogliente. Questo che rende il viaggio ad Amsterdam molto piacevole e rilassante. Fons impagabile, 5 stelle anche all'host :)

Absolutely perfect location. Quiet and peaceful yet short walk to Metro to get anywhere in the city. Houseboat was exactly as described and absolutely loved everything about our stay.

Saubere Unterkunft mit sehr bequemen Queen-size Betten. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Das Objekt entspricht den Bildern, auch die Sitzgelegenheit mit zwei Stühlen. Direkt an der Straße kann man das Auto stehen lassen (Tagesticket: 24 €). Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist die Innenstadt mit der Straßenbahn 26 in circa 18 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Straßenbahn fahren zuverlässig und regelmäßig. Fußweg zur Haltestelle beträgt 1,3 km. Das Viertel ist noch im Aufbau, in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es keinen Bäcker oder Lebensmittelgeschäfte.

Das gemütliche Hausboot von Harold ist ideal für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen in Amsterdam. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man superschnell in der Innenstadt! Das Hausboot ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist ein kleines Abenteuer, darin zu wohnen, wenn man es nicht gewöhnt ist. Harold ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar einen Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung geschenkt!

The location is great! Short walk to transportation. Amazing view of the canal. Has everything you could need or want in the kitchen. Beautiful bathroom and great to have a tub and a shower. Place is very spacious and lots of natural light. The book shelf is full of great reads so you can even skip packing books. Boris had good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Our favorite was taking a boat tour of the canals. Might not have done that if he had not suggested it. If ever back in Amsterdam, will for sure hope it's available and will recommend to friends. Enjoy!!

I really enjoyed staying at Stanislava’s place. It’s a very nice apartment equipped with everything one would need. Stanislava is very friendly and flexible, an exceptionally great Host. Absolutely recommended!

I stayed at Caio's place for a week for a business trip and had a great stay. The flat is conveniently located a short walk from the tram station and 3 minutes away from the nearest supermarket. The flat itself is well equipped, bright and has all amenities needed. Caio was very responsive and helpful when needed; he even lent me a bike for my stay, which was prima. The only miscommunication was during check in. Caio had said the flat is on the 2nd floor, counting the ground floor, which I hadn't. So took my a minute. Otherwise, perfect!

Robin’s studio is an ideal couple’s stay location. Everything was clean and easy to use, with plenty of facilities for what we needed over our weekend stay. We really enjoyed lying in bed with a view out on to the river and Robin was great at communicating with us and helping us get in to the property with ease on our own. Would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again myself!

Great communication. Easy check in. Fransje welcomed us and showed the house which was filled with fresh flowers everywhere. This was the second time we stayed in this beautiful typical Dutch house. The last time we were with 7 people, this time with 6. Enough room for everybody. This house has everything you need.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en genoten van het uitzicht. Het huisje was schoon en netjes en van alles voorzien. Het uitzicht was geweldig. Helaas liet het weer het niet toe maar de mooie momenten hebben we heerlijk op het terras en de steiger kunnen zitten. We logeerden in huisje # 5. Echt een aanrader. Goede bedden en volledig uitrusting in de keuken.

We spent 4 nights over Easter in Rudi‘s cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very bright and clean with a comfy bed. and sofa, a great shower and excellent lighting (this is something that I often miss in hotel rooms). The view from the terrace is outstanding. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours there after cycling in the area or visiting nearby Utrecht. Rudi is a very friendly person, always smiling, giving us recommendations etc. Would re-visit anytime. Thank you, Rudi - also for the delicious welcome-cake!

Petit havre de paix à proximité de pas mal de point d’interêt (45 min Amsterdam,10 min keukeunhof) John et sa femme nous on accueilli chaleureusement avant l’heure prévu pour que l’on puisse déposer nos affaires avant d’aller fêter la King’s day. Décoré avec goût il y’a tout ce qui faut dans et à l’extérieur de la maison pour profiter c’était un superbe séjour !

Το σπιτι του Nicolas ειναι εξαιρετικο. Εχει τα παντα μεσα. πολυ καλα εξοπλισμενο. Απολαυσαμε την ηρεμια του χωριου σε ενα πολυ ανετο σπιτι με υπεροχη αυλη διπλα στο καναλι. Διπλα στη σταση λεωφορειων.

Meine Schwester und ich waren begeistert. Es war alles so wie auf den Fotos. Sogar noch besser. Direkt am Wasser und man hatte seine Ruhe. Der Ausblick war wirklich himmlisch und wir konnten sehr gut entspannen. Gerne wieder.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement était super ! On s’y sent très bien. L’environnement était si paisible et le lever du soleil le matin offre un très beau paysage. Le village est très mignon. Facile d’accéder en bus à Amsterdam et parfait pour visiter les alentours. Lonneke nous as très bien accueilli, très gentille et souriante.

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!
