Townhome holiday rentals in Gozo

This was a brilliant choice! The house was just as expected, old and characterful, and a bit strange in the layout but it worked for our family. We loved the upstairs veranda, with a mini-kitchen beside it, that would be even more welcome in summer. We were travelling with a three year old, and a baby, so the toys and children's gear were greatly appreciated. The location was perfect - with a bakery on one side (open from 6am and sold milk!) and two cafes on the other, well patronised by locals - we seemed to be the only tourists around in January. We loved the proximity to the Three Cities (and wished we'd worked out earlier that you can walk all along the waterfront to the Birgu water taxis and ferry to Valletta), and to Valletta. Parking was easy near the house, and Wendy was a great communicator and gave excellent suggestions about local restaurants (all of which did take away which was useful for us).

Aaron is very hospitable and helpful! Beautifully restored farmhouse - all loving and high quality, with a good eye for details! Everything is impeccably clean, the pool is great after a day of sightseeing! We loved the stay for 3 couples and fully recommend this accommodation.

It was a fantastically beautiful stay at Jean Paul's house. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures and you feel right at home there. Communication with Jean Paul was great. He was quick to respond and was also quick to help with any other questions. We were even allowed to check out later because our flight didn't start until the late afternoon. I can fully recommend the place and would book it again every time.

Great Airbnb and host. The house is as described, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. It was easy to find a parking space nearby and the buses on the main road are very well connected. There are also shops and cafes nearby. Doreen is a great host, easy to communicate with and she was able to give us an early check-in which was great. I'd stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Andrea's unique and ancient little place in the magnificent setting of Mdina. It was a privilege to be able to stay there, Joanna was very welcoming, and everything was just as it should be.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Gianluca’s place. A fantastic experience from start to finish. The home has great character and the view to Valletta and surrounding areas are amazing. The large and exclusive terrace gave us a view of the fireworks that was almost impossible to match. A magical New Year’s Eve. Absolutely stunning!

What a find! As soon as we saw the picture we knew this was the place for us and it did not disappoint. Location is perfect, quiet but plenty right on the doorstep. The house has been beautifully restored and has everything you need and more(included plenty of stairs to get your daily steps in). And Joe was the icing on the cake, super helpful, always in contact, great recommendations and flexible too. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in and it certainly made the holiday. Would stay again and recommend to others.

James was very responsive and flexible with my check in. The place is on a very clean and quaint street. My stay was very relaxing and public transport is a short walk. All the amenities you need for a short or long stay. If you like television, the TV is the largest I have ever seen in any Airbnb I’ve been too. Overall great stay.

Perfect place to hole up and rest for a week - and see the island and do yoga at the hot studio. Super friendly, bringing me milk for tea etc and ultra clean. It had EVERYTHING in needed to cater for myself if I didn’t fancy eating out. Spotless linen and towels, laundry facilities, hairdryer, microwave, kettle, hot shower. I felt safe as a lone female traveller. They left me alone to chill but I knew they were on hand if I needed anything. Great instructions too on arrival. Thank you Carl & Anna!

Marc's apartment is located in a comfortable and quiet area, the house is quiet, and you can easily walk to the center. You can also easily find parking nearby. The house is nice, bright and airy, clean with all the necessary appliances. Marc is very helpful and thoughtful, recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Lucia’s which is in a typical Maltese house. Lucia was so helpful and responded to any small query immediately. Everything was as described - the jacuzzi bath was amazing! The property is in a quiet cul de sac a 15 minute stroll away from the centre of Valetta. From here the other two cities are only 5 minutes away on the 3 Cities Ferry. Thank you Lucia - we would love to come back again one day!

Very nice and interesting place to stay! Traditional Maltese staircase, vaulted arched ceiling, stone walls, and two small balconies make you feel like you're in a 17th-century castle. The main bedroom is actually an inside balcony overlooking a very roomy living-dining-kitchen area. Did not bother us, but narrow spiral stairs and a relatively small bathroom, which is one flight below the main bedroom, may be an issue for a large or elderly person. Located almost at the end of the main Republic Street and yet within a 10-minute walk from all main Valletta attractions and ferries to Sliema and 3 cities. 5 minutes to tasty Sally Port Pizzeria or excellent The Bell Gastrolounge. Joelean is a great host, very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We also used her additional offer to pick us up and drop us off at the airport, which was very convenient. Thank you, Joelean, for such a wonderful experience!

We give our wholehearted recommendation! We travelled to Gozo for our 20th wedding anniversary, staying one month. Frank was incredibly helpful - he even picked us up from the ferry. He welcomed us with a home baked fresh local delicacy along with Maltese wine and beer as well as a 20th wedding celebratory cake! Frank gave us detailed information about the island and how to get around. He even took us to the grocery store! The place has great views of the sea/harbour. You have many incredible patio options, so you can choose to be in the sun or shade at any point in the day. The place is large and comfortable, with several bathrooms with good showers & A/C in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, with plenty of dishes, flatware, glasses, etc. There is a TV with a wide range of channels and on-demand movies. It was a 10 minute walk to the harbour, gym, Gorgun beach and a plethora of restaurants. Two bus routes run in front of the house; one of them goes to Victoria.

Martin’s house is located within Valletta city gate, which means the main attractions are all very close by. There are supermarkets and restaurants in the neighborhood so it is very easy to choose between dining out or cooking yourself. It is a house with full facilities so it feels very welcoming and like home. Martin also replies to our doubts and checked on our check-in process timely. Highly recommend this place!

Great place and location, allowed us to drop our case at 2pm on NYE so we could crack on until ready! Great value for money!

The place in Birgu was perfect for us. The location so close to the harbor was very nice and since we had rented scooters, we were able to explore Malta well from the property. The house is as described and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is adequately equipped. The bed is super cozy. In the cooler seasons, you probably have to be prepared for it to be quite cool in the house. However, there are radiant heaters and the air conditioning that can be used to remedy the situation.

Marvellous situation in the middle of the Citadelle. Great views from the roof terrace, where during the winter you get sun in the early afternoon. A restaurant terrace is just beside but was closed during the evenings. The church bell disturbed only the first night. The small booklets about path routes in Gozo were great! A warm recommendation!

Joseph was a fantastic host. He gave us helpful advice about the area and the best places to visit and eat on our visit to Gozo both before we arrived and during our trip. This meant a lot to us as it was our first trip to Malta. At first we were unsure of the location which backs onto the road into Qata but Joseph’s place is a hidden gem with bags of character. It has been beautifully restored and very well fitted out with every need anticipated, quite an oasis of calm with a pretty open courtyard. Such a shame we had wet weather and couldn’t sit in it, but we were happy inside it is such a nice relaxing place to have a break. Thank you to our hosts for making us so welcome.

Dears, Bernard's place is absolute gem in terms of the facilities. Had everything appliances you need for a short/long term stay. The terrace is a bonus for sure. The place was spotless clean with extra linens as well. A washing machine on the terrace is useful for long term stays. Last but not the least, Bernard is one of those rare hosts to be so kind and helpful. He would do everything he can to ensure a good stay. Indeed a super duper host!!! My best wishes for him.

Derek greeted us, and we had a nice chat before he showed us his unit. He was responsive and quickly fixed the one small issue I encountered. The rooftop terrace is a great place to begin and end your day. Derek has lovingly restored this unit and has every right to be proud. Take a walking tour of Ir-Rabat and Mdina, then come back to air conditioning and the relaxing terrace. I recommend Derek’s oasis.

We had a great stay here. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The house was spacious and comfortable, several restaurants/bars and grocery shops in easy walking distance. Parking was easy to find nearby. We would be very happy to stay again.

The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable and the view from the roof is amazing. It could be a little chilly in the winter evenings but there are heaters, blankets etc. The location is perfect for exploring Valetta and surroundings. The ferry is five minutes away - you can see the house from the ferry terminal - and it's a lovely 5 minute journey across the harbour to Valetta. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance and we also found a convenience store. The neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet- although we were there in the winter. You can also easily walk to the historic neighbourhoods of Birgu and Senglea.
