Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. From the cottage, it is 200 meters to the forest and 800 meters to the beach. The grounds are totally undisturbed with a beautiful older planting. The house has been completely renovated this year and looks very inviting with a loft for children and an exit to a large south-west facing wooden terrace. The house also has 3 good bedrooms and a completely new bathroom.

Completely renovated summerhouse in Munkerup. There are four sleeping places in the main house: a double bed in the bedroom as well as a smaller double bed in the living room. The bathroom is an extension of the bedroom, and the house is therefore ideal for a couple or a family with 1-2 children. There is only 20 min walk (5 min by bike, there are 6 by the house) from the lovely beach. the famous Maglehøje is 100 m from the house.
