Propane BBQ Grill. Dog friendly (only with all vaccinations and never left alone in house), eco-friendly. This is a vacation destination.

Relaxing, quiet, private studio with a tall wood ceiling, solar skylights, 100mps WiFi, shared yard, patio. Dogs must not be aggressive to other dogs. Dark skies. The entrance is in a courtyard away from the road and shaded by trees. Next door is my sister's BnB, the Black Range Lodge, where you can reserve a hearty breakfast for $10. Consider some therapeutic bodywork during your stay. My studio is steps away in the same courtyard. For safety I run a HEPA air purifier between guests.

Pet friendly, with large shaded enclosure. Hummingbird haven from April to October. Patio with charcoal grill and a garden for seasonal picking. Fresh eggs from my chickens in the fridge in season. Cell phone service is ok if you put your phone in wifi mode; otherwise, not good. Se habla Español.

A monitor, printer, mouse and keyboard (USB & HDMI Connectors) are available for your use. A railing has just been added for the walk up from the parking spot to your Casita.

Casita in Silver City's Historic Downtown

Our Casita is located in Silver City's historic downtown district. It is walking distance to restaurants, bars, artisan shops, bike rentals, Western New Mexico University, and hiking trails. The Casita is small, i.e., approximately 500 square feet. However, it has a queen size bed, a twin bed, and two single sofa sleepers. It has a full kitchen, a small refrigerator. Well behaved pets are welcome and may enjoy the fully fenced, private yard.

Historic Thompson house near downtown; KING BED

The Thompson House was built in 1908 and is a Registered Cultural Property in silver City. It has been beautifully remodeled. The house is mere blocks off Bullard street, for shopping and restaurants, and not far from WNMU. There are 4 airbnb suites to choose from, each with a distinct comfort and flare. Suite 1 features a King bed, full sofa bed, work desk, speedy wifi, large TV, full bath, and spacious living room with bay window.
