We are a friendly semi-retired couple age 63 to 68 that speak both English & Vietnamese. Mike retired a few years ago, however I am still working as an IT networking at a primary school. We were originally refugees escaping a war torn country looking for freedom. Then luckily, we were offered to settle in Australia over 30 years ago. We absolutely love to travel and explore new places. We also love meeting people from all around the world and learning about their culture and experiences.
“We stayed with Mung and Mike for 3 weeks and had a lovely stay! Both of them were really hospitable and had some great advice for the local area. The room was cosy and warm (we stayed during winter so that was a plus!) And the house was always kept lovely and clean. The house had a beautiful garden and was always nice and quiet considering it was quite close to the city. If we are ever back in Adelaide, we will be sure to stay again ☺️”
Dip into the shared pool, following up with a BBQ lunch. Back inside, reverse cycle heating and cooling ensures comfort at all times. A widescreen TV and Foxtel offers entertainment, with French flax linen and luxe organic products for pampering.
“I would highly recommend staying here, Jodi was an excellent host and reached out in an extremely friendly manner. The decor was stunning and such a comfortable stay! Cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience.”
A great location beside Hutt St restaurants, access to city free bus, walking distance to city or use my bikes to get around! My place is yours! Cosy, welcoming and a place to call home. No additional cleaning fees. Includes unlimited wifi (NBN). Check in and check out usually flexible. Note : My Guest Room includes a queen bed in the rate for 1-2 people. If 3 guests book (or if you require twin set up) I can put a single mattress in guest room or lounge (3rd person charge applies for this)
“A great place to stay in Adelaide; easy to walk to the centre of the city, or catch an easy bus. The house is very comfortable, the facilities perfect, and Merran is a lovely and thoughtful host. Recommended (except when I need to stay again, of course). Sammy, Merran's ageing dog companion, is no trouble, and having only arrived home today from my stay in Adelaide, I miss her! I had an extended stay (9 nights) and felt very comfortable and welcomed, and free to treat the whole house outside of my bedroom as my interim home. A pleasure to be there.”
