Cabin holiday rentals in Greene County

This was the perfect secluded getaway. The privacy, the nearby river, and the fire pit made it everything we needed to relax and unwind. Being tucked away in the mountains gave it a peaceful, remote feel, yet we were still just a short drive from great wineries and breweries. It was the ideal mix of nature and local charm—our stay was truly remarkable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the crooked cabin. It's clear that the owners care about their visitors feeling right at home! The bottle of local wine and the breakfast treats were a nice touch. The hot tub was amazing and the sunset view was fabulous! Love the ambiance of the cabin!

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

This was our first trip as a family of 3. We took our 5 month old to this place and it was fantastic. It was peaceful and quite by the lake and the hot tub was great relaxing time. The management company was responsive throughout our entire stay. Location was great as it was located just a short drive to locate wineries/breweries/restaurants. We really enjoyed out 3 night 4 day stay out in nature!

Perfect place for couples, families or a guys/ girls trip. Bobby and Andrea were incredibly responsible and seemed to genuinely care about us and providing the best experience possible.

This place was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could need in amenities. We had a wonderful time with family and we hope to stay again on our next visit to the area. The owner thought of everything to make us feel at home and comfortable.

The house was incredible clean and cozy, and the scenery is gorgeous. The screened in porch and backyard are amazing, and the whole house is comfy and cozy with amazing blankets. It was truly a wonderful place and location, we had no problems whatsoever and loved every minute of being in such a beautiful peaceful place.

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the cabin, such a beautiful setting! Loved the privacy and the dogs especially appreciated the fenced in yard. Hosts were quick to respond if we had any questions. The cabin had a great layout, very easy to feel right at home. The rain shower in the bathroom was definitely hard to leave! Very convenient to Charlottesville, restaurants (Jack’s nearby was a favorite for Bfast/lunch!), and walks. Would rent again!

The property was lovely and accommodated our group of 7 very comfortably. We enjoyed our time at what the kids deemed “the best red roofed cabin!”

We had a peaceful weekend at the cabin with our kids. Easy drive to Charlottesville, and close to Skyline Drive. We loved the fire pit! Would return.

The cabin is very cozy and in a private, peaceful spot in the mountains. We appreciated that we were able to bring our dog! Abby was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again!

If you're looking for a place to stay this is it. Close to everything you need and still far enough away! Jessie is quick at responding and her house is clean and super comfy! We will definitely be returning!

This place is serene and a tremendous bargain! They don't advertise that you can hear the stream gently bubbling, that they have a big piece of land to explore, and firewood and pits for your use! This is such a fantastic place and an excellent gateway to the Appalachian Trail, Shenandoah National Park, and regional hiking, too! If you have the chance to stay anywhere in this region with a group or your family, this might be the best spot available! The host is responsive and quickly available for any minor issues or just advice. This is the Airbnb you'll never regret staying at for a few nights or longer. Side note - this would also be a fantastic place for a writer's retreat or business meetings! And yet, it's still a great family spot as well! Serene, Secluded, and Special!

A pretty good place to explore the nature

We had a great stay at this cabin during our kids’ spring break. We went hiking in Shenandoah National Park and visited Charlottesville. We were able to make meals at the cabin and relax by the fire pit. The cabin is surrounded by trees and feels private and peaceful. The books, art supplies and DVD collection were great in the absence of WiFi. The decor is beautiful and everything felt brand new and well kept. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into creating an aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable space. We highly recommend this place.

This was truly a gem of a house! We were blown away with how beautiful the view was and with how unique and comfortable the house was. We truly never left the house, spent all day on the massive back porch sitting by the fire pit. We used the pizza oven both nights to cook dinner. Truly a special place secluded away from all the noise. Even though we didn’t use them, there were many hiking trails nearby. We will definitely come back again!

My 2nd stay at this property. Great place, great host. Very communicative. Quiet and isolated

We had a great stay at Stacey's place! As described, it is pretty tiny, but Stacey has made good use of the small space and you have all the basics needed for a nice, comfortable stay. I would not plan to cook an elaborate meal or spend much time indoors but if you are looking for a comfortable crash pad in proximity of the local attractions it fits the bill!

This cabin is perfectly located in Shenandoah. From the rush of the creek, the singing of the birds, and the serenity the cabin presents this place is a 10/10. The pictures don’t do enough justice. The cabin is beautifully put with plenty of space. I will forever recommend this gem.

Great house in a beautiful location! It was so peaceful and quiet with fantastic views of the mountains and sunsets. House was well maintained and very comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking at home. Hot tub was awesome and clean. We loved the privacy and the solitude of the area. This house is one of my favorite AirBnbs that I’ve stayed in!
