Authentic sailing ship Vrouwezand: Peace and quiet!

The Vrouwezand is a historic sailing ship and sails in the summer over the mudflats and IJsselmeer. In winter, it is located in the city center of Groningen in a unique location, and can be rented as accommodation for music and/or culture lovers. The cozy living room has an open kitchen with an extensive inventory, including a catering oven and 2 refrigerators (together 250 liters). Yvonne van Scheijen, biologist and skipper/owner, lives in the skipper's house at the back, and is happy to welcome you on board.

Come stay on our beautiful clipper. Combine the bustling Groningen with a quiet place where you can be with your friends or family. Parking at walking distance , restaurants around the corner. We are happy to show you the way to the nicest cafes, shops. We have 6 cabins, 2 with double bed, 2 toilets and 2 showers. Washbasins in every cabin.
