The area was beautiful, I enjoyed long walks up the mountain every morning. The host was always available and very accommodating. Great place to stay if you want to go to the volcano. The house is very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and seems safe.

Great 🟢 accommodation for when attending events at Hacienda Sitio Mata, it can even be reached on foot. 🟢Pretty quiet and safe place. 🟢 Amenities are as described. 🟢 Marlon is very attentive to needs. 🟡 The parking lot is on the edge of the street (Parqueo 1) but it has a space to store the cars less than 40mts safer (Parqueo 2) a little steep but more hidden, in the same way, the area is very quiet. Highly recommended.

I loved this place, the house is beautiful, well equipped and the surroundings are just stunning. We went with our dog and he had the time of his life running all over the place. I recommend this place very much

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

The place is beautiful, private and relaxing. The ease of bringing your pets is a plus. The host is very attentive and kind. The pool is very enjoyable because of the hot weather. Any car can enter, but most of the street is unpaved and you have to go slowly, so take that into account. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place! Highly recommended!

The stay was quiet, good location for the Turrialba Volcano.

It is 6 minutes from the main highway, with good access, also has a supermarket 5 minutes away which makes it ideal, it has an excellent parking space or security throughout the property The pool and grill area is a terrace that is undoubtedly very comfortable to enjoy with family or friends. The place is well equipped with all the equipment, technological appliances that make the stay very comfortable. Access to the river within the property is very easy access; and the road is with very clear signage and indication, the fauna and flora that the place possesses is a beauty that characterizes the connection of the place Undoubtedly in the assertive communication of Lorena makes the stay very pleasant and do not have any difficulties. Definitely a HIDDEN GEM, which would be a pleasure to visit again. ✨

Nice place, with a beautiful view towards Turrialba downtown. The place is very hot during the day but with so many sliding doors and windows there was no need for air conditioning. I didn't have to contact Jaim for any situation, but in the messages we crossed he was very helpful

Just spectacular! Very well thought out accommodation, with a very romantic and quiet tone. The place inspires a lot of peace and relaxation. There is a house with a family that lives nearby but that doesn't take away privacy from the apartment... the bathroom has a beautiful design! And the mini pool is fabulous. I definitely recommend this place for a romantic getaway or 100% relaxation and rest! Mario's attention was always timely and very respectful.

Our stay at Casa Lajas was wonderful! The house was very spacious, set up beautifully, with the most spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The farm was lovely with such unique pools, colorful gardens, and a peaceful stream. The absolute highlight of the trip was Ms Ana and her cooking! We enjoyed every breakfast and dinner she prepared. The entire family was kind and welcoming. When one of my daughters was not feeling well, Ms Ana provided us with helpful advice and guidance to get her feeling well quickly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway, perfect for large families, retreats or reunions. We will most definitely return!!! Thank you Deiby and family!!!

A very quiet place to enjoy as a family with all amenities, excellent to go with pets since there is a lot of space, the host is always attentive and friendly, in end everything is very good.

I had a pleasant stay at Francisco’s apartment. Perfect for long or short term stays. Communication was great.

Staying at Maribel's place is vintage AirBnb — charming, unique, and personal. You need a 4x4 to get to the place, but that's part of the adventure. Maribel's farm is astonishing because you feel like you're on a mountain farm just minutes away from conveniences of the city. She and her whole team are chill and helpful. They sell some fruits, veggies, and eggs on site, and provide a comprehensive list of the good spots in town to grab a bite or shop for groceries. I'm a cook and the kitchen was really well stocked relative to what I normally encounter in similar stays. Nice new appliances, hot shower, and coziness all around. Her place is majestic and Maribel is the perfect host for such a lovely spot :)

The stay at David's house was great and super spacious and has a beautiful decoration! They are two very well equipped houses. Only that decoration goes the light often. But it's something from the place of guapiles. The grill is outside the house. David was a friendly and very helpful host. And best of all, they accept pets.

Carolina and her family were very kind with everything. The place is super cute! Very cozy, the patio beautiful, you can see that they love it and enjoy it very much for the care and detail they have. Everything is super good, highly recommended.

Finca Guarumal is not just an Airbnb but an experience! I had planned a 20+km hike and found this Airbnb 8 min from the hiking trail. WOW am I glad I came across such a special and unique farm! The Airbnb was spacious, the kitchen was perfect with a large refrigerator, the bathroom was spa like and the washer and dryer is fantastic because I like packing light. Very clean and comfortable! Natalia created a cozy place! Beyond the Airbnb was the FARM and the surrounding beauty! Don Miguel, the owner of the farm for 40 years, is a breath of fresh air and has so much knowledge on both the animal life and flowers/trees! It was so amazing to walk the farm and the quiet roads and learn so much about nature. Also, the views are unmatched! The BEST part was the horses! I could have spent all day hanging out with the horses (and Don Miguel 😂). If you have a car there is so much to explore and do. Don Miguel can give suggestions based off of your interests. Thanks for a great experience!

Cute and spacious house, with quite a patio. Very safe, the property is totally fenced. The only thing is that it is a little hot, but if you are in the house and ventilates during the day, it warms less. Highly recommended.

It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers seeking tranquility away from the city, though it might feel a bit too remote for some. Perfect for couples or groups of friends looking for a peaceful, rural retreat. That said, it’s worth doublechecking the amenities in advance, as not everything listed was available during our stay.
