Beneath our Pant Wood is nestled a perfect lodge for families and slightly larger groups having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and being able to sleep 6.
Families love the freedom of being able to access the field below for extra play space and of course well behaved pets are very welcome.
Whether you are looking for a perfect activity base, or just want to relax and soak away your day in the hot tub spa with a glass of bubbles, Barn Owl Lodge is the perfect retreat to get away from it all x
The space
Barn Owl Lodge is a large spacey 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property.
It is perfects for larger families, & couples, and can sleep up to 6 persons.
Dogs are welcome also and 2 large dogs will be comfortable in the space. We may accept more but please ask.
Both bedrooms have king-size beds and double patio doors onto the veranda.
The second bedroom has the option to split the bed into two singles. Please specify on booking if this is required,.
The master bedroom has an en suit bathroom with bath and rain fall shower also.
The living area is open plan living with two comfy sofas. The smaller sofa turns into a double sofa bed for guests 5&6. Mattress topper for extra comfort and bedding / linen provide if required for the booking.
The dining table seats 6 and the full kitchen , inc gas oven/hob and extractor fan, under counter fridge and microwave.
There is a second family shower room, with rain fall shower, sink and toilet.
The entrance porch has storage for shoes and coat hooks.
The lodge has full height double patio doors which open out on the large secure veranda with alfresco dining facilities for 6. The veranda also provides access to the large marquis hot tub.
There is tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits & a small bottle of milk for your arrival .
Travel cot and high chair can be provided if required. Please request on booking.
1 x Bath towel & 1 x hand towel is provided per guest.
Guest access
Parking for Barn owl Lodge is in an allocated level, graveled car park area right outside the door.
The keys for the door are accessed via a coded key safe.
The code will be sent to you the morning your due to check in.
There is a Guest Manual in the Lodge with housekeeping , emergency numbers. WiFi codes, operation of appliance instructions plus many leaflets of ideas of places to visit during your stay.
Other things to note
There is no phone service signal but you can attach to the WIFI. As we are in rural Mid Wales the WIFI is not Fibre, so may not be as fast as you are used too.
We are located in the Welsh Countryside on a Farm and offer Holiday Retreats for relaxation and 'getaway from it all breaks'.
This said we are in a prime location for visiting many of Mid Wales attractions and beauty. Beaches are 50 minutes drive away.
We are surrounded by animals, wildlife, birds , fresh air, stunning views and tranquility.
We are a short 2 miles drive from Newtown and all its provisions and home deliveries can be arranged from various Supermarkets if required.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please add them to your booking and bring their usual bedding and blankets from home as we have a strict policy of not pets on the sofas or in the beds.
Please advise us on booking if a party of 2 requires sofa bedding. Thank you x
